  1. It's funny, I just realized I come here because comics are my life and end up derailing every thread I get on talking about everything but comics. I'll stop now, don't want the "moderator" to call me on this.
  2. One of the best spoof movies ever! But you do actually have to see Lethal Weapon to get a lot of the jokes. "I'm just taking one of those unmotivated butt in the moonbeam walks."
  3. This reminds of the scene in Lethal Weapon 2 when Leo Getz is explaining how he was scamming drug dealers dealing with billions of dollars. "I was scamming those guys for months! Millions of dollar transactions, all in small bills. Who's gonna miss 10,000 here, 20,000 there?" "Drug dealers" "That's right. They did."
  4. I don't know what you're talking about. I have been assured by the government that all of my money is represented in gold in the Federal Treasury. If I wanted to, I could just go pick up my gold at any time!
  5. They could put those little white stickers with metal in them that Walmart puts on high theft items. You know the ones that if you try to take them off stab your finger? That way alarms will go off back at CGC if you try to open the case at home and leave you running to the bathroom for a Band-Aid while your house is raided by 20 guys from Virginia! (Probably cost-prohibitive, however...)
  6. Me too. Mine was received 12/1 and not moving for a couple of weeks, but when they did finally start moving, they moved pretty quickly.
  7. I might have missed the update in the gazillion posts since, so forgive me if you already know this but GPA did take down the SW 8 MJI for 21k, and only has the last 9.6k sale on there.
  8. Posted this unicorn that I just got back from CGC! I love that it's #3 and has a triple cover. It was also published in 1973... (OK, that might be a bit of a stretch.)
