  1. My issue is not with whether you're right or wrong, it's your need to "moderate" me by calling me "ignorant" just because I have a differing opinion from yours(and I often disagree with CGC's grades). I would say that your reaction to my post would need to be "moderated" before the content of my post would have needed to be. I get it, your blood is up over all of this. Don't take it out on me...
  2. Whoa. Mole hill meet mountain? I've been grading comics for over 30 years...to me, that's fraying(Just an opinion, no need to take it personal). Peace.
  3. I have to give them away at auction. I recently sold a Romita signed ASM 121 8.0 verified by that other company for less than what an unsigned CGC 8.0 is currently priced at on the bay.
  4. I feel this is still localized within the CGC fan community and spreading slightly elsewhere. Casual collectors(which still make up the bulk of potential CGC customers) are completely unaware of this situation. Until it hits the media, it's not going to have any measurable impact. Google "CGC" then hit the news tab and all that comes up is a publicly traded pot company.
  5. I just got charged extra for two books that CGC changed from Modern to High Value(X-Men 266 and DC Comics Presents 26...apparently worth more than $400???), so I know CGC is still active. This guy gets away with murder for years and I get "caught" trying to slip two comics by in the wrong tier?
  6. Not saying this isn't more of their nefariousness, but I myself have sent in older case books for a press and a regrade. But carry on...
  7. They will definitely do something if he used his real name, his own credit card, he turns himself in and both CGC and eBay provide all of the evidence in a box with a cute little bow on it.
  8. I was thinking more along the lines of the 3.0 to 4.0 difference in grades, which would show up on the records. Sending it in makes it all look 100% legit.
  9. Due to the holidays they might have only one dude manning the whole operation and he's like...WTF????
  10. I think the pertinent issue here is that they are doing this to make sure the grader notes match up so there's no question as to the "validity" of the issue they are selling.
  11. Folks, I know I just said that the silence is deafening, but there could be another possibility(however remote) for the lack of response by CGC:
