  1. I might have missed the update in the gazillion posts since, so forgive me if you already know this but GPA did take down the SW 8 MJI for 21k, and only has the last 9.6k sale on there.
  2. Posted this unicorn that I just got back from CGC! I love that it's #3 and has a triple cover. It was also published in 1973... (OK, that might be a bit of a stretch.)
  3. Hopefully you're not planning to pass this cost onto future submitters in the shape of higher service fees...
  4. They'll take anything to tout right now since GPA is probably worried that if the market falls anymore, they'll become irrelevant.
  5. When I bought my page for under $2k a few years ago, I did it to own a piece of history. But that's literally pieces of history...
  6. Yeah, the TMNT 1 was sent at the same time as the 12/1 batch but didn't get checked in until a week later. My friend can't catch a break. No 9.8s for any of the books I sent in with mine(he's never gotten one ever) and that TMNT 1 looks like it might not get back to him until St. Patrick's Day!
  7. And done*! A bunch of 9.8s, including Superman #317, Micronauts #8(2), X-Men #266, New Teen Titans #2. Also Amazing Spidey 141-151 between 9.2-9.6! All with WHITE pages! Coming soon to my listings! *The "Magazine High Value" is a TMNT #1 2nd print that a friend had me send in for him...hopefully they get around to it!
  8. This reminds me of reading the first Overstreet Grading Guide and in it, it had a picture of Cap #100 with the grade of "NM" with a very similar crease off the staple. I'm like..."yeah right...that's not getting getting a NM grade from me!"
  9. Every time I see him called "Roy", it reminds me of Quigley Down Under, Die Hard and Knight & Day*. *Pretty sure than covers all movies with a main character called "Roy" ...and only one of them were actually named "Roy". Oh, wait this is totally OFF-TOPIC. Sorry, Roy!
