  1. Sorry, no CCS here, kinda regret that for some... Anyone else doing this once it gets to G/QC? *Refresh* Still G/QC *Refresh* Still G/QC *Refresh* Still G/QC
  2. A few of the additions: ^(This was the "VG Outer, FN- Inner" copy I got off MCS...I cleaned and pressed it myself---not a bad outcome!)^ ^(Wish I had pressed this...)^
  3. Not even if you ignore the extensive math and doodles on the back cover... That math looks pretty dubious. "Should I carry the one? Nahhhhh..."
  4. And here I thought all of my hard work was changing the world...
  5. Over the past decade, overgrading has become so rampant on eBay that I found myself moving more and more to rare insert, error and slabbed books. Because I would end up with my mid-grade books priced way higher than advertised "VF to NM" books, so they would just sit there. Now, I will say that I feel a lot of this is due to lazy ad making and not necessarily blatant false advertising. A lot of inexperienced sellers will just copy other ads, not realizing they are not even close on the grade in the title/description. If you simply drop them a message, they will probably change their ads.
  6. Not mine. Still stuck in G/E/I. Mine are all double cover errors so I don't know if that is why they're taking more time. I had 13 moderns with double cover errors received the same day(9/14) blast through so fast they'll be back to me on Monday.
  7. Some of them I will be keeping. But most will go on the place where lowballing is a professional sport.
  8. So I sent in a batch on 9/6(Got there 9/8). They split them into 4 groups. Two vintage(one with one Silver Age issue and one with two Bronze Age issues) and two modern(One with 14 issues and one that I decided to do a custom label). The Modern group of 14 issues is already shipped while the rest are still SFG after 3 business days. While I love the speed of the group of 14, I probably won't be choosing to upgrade to custom labels anymore...
  9. Unless you left pieces of it under the staple, probably not(maybe even if they noticed they wouldn't green label it). It would be like removing a Mark Jewelers insert. But why would you do it?
  10. Just sent in a bunch of my ASM raw doubles and got a couple 9.8, 9.8s! #188 becomes my third ASM double with a Mark Jewelers insert. I also sent in my #78(still in SFG), which had a corner piece torn off and then replaced(restored) on the interior cover. I decided to remove that restored piece(it was well done but looked like a photocopied piece anyway) and go for a blue label since you won't see the damage in the case and they would grade off the outer cover. I'll let you know how that comes out.
  11. Over the span of of 9 years too. Stan must have signed completely different only when he was in Boston. Maybe it was the clam chowder...
  12. I don't know about that one since the pic doesn't work, but these are TERRIBLE. Up for auction right now! Some even come with COAs! OOOoooOOOoooOO!!!
  13. It's admittedly not their best work. I'm just happy it has at least one aspect that was very familiar in their Spidey run...the New York skyline.
  14. I found it on eBay for less than $50 bucks a few years ago.
  15. To establish my Ross Andru superfan street cred, here's something I have on my wall: Original art by Andru/Esposito from Zen: The Intergalactic Ninja #2(Page #27---27 is my favorite number) Beat that!
  16. I love Ross(I have a CGC high grade of Marvel Super-Heroes #14 just because it's his first Spidey art), but let's be realistic. He's no Lee, Ditko or Romita. And even the latter two would not be immediately recognized by Joe Schmo-Public.
  17. I found these greeting cards signed by him(no idea when he signed them) ...the "R" looks close, but the sigs on the Marvel Tales look rushed so it's hard to really tell. The thing is...if I was a villain, and was going to choose an artist or writer to train myself how to forge their sig, I would pick someone a bit more popular than Ross Andru...
