I think fears of a recession are still lingering for many as well as people just wanting to put their money into traveling (yes, this seems contradictory) ..but prices dont seem to be falling below pre pandemic ...that would be a really bad sign

I sold an ASM 2 2.0 two months ago at MCS for 1674...just won an ASM 2 3.0 for 1430 on comic link...so after fees and sales tax, I spent 130 to upgrade ..that was well worth the gamble I took but the price drop is a little concerning for auctions I have going up in July...might hold off on those I have noticed that other first appearances ASM 4, ASM 9 took a significant hit this week ..so good time to buy those also, ASM annual 1 might be taking a big dip also ASM 50 seems to be holding steady, as well as ASM 14

Yeah, I have my doubts about the offers he got, Also. The only other thing that I can think that he may be doing… Is that he got only a lowball offer from someone who wanted to basically turn it back into a RAW, and asked if he could disassemble it for them…. And then he just made up this charade to have an interesting YouTube show…. And he has no intention of sending it to CGC.

are you being sarcastic? I wouldnt exactly use the word 'bustling' for his youtube channel (compared to other high volume youtubers)..not even close

I dont understand his math...he was offered 45 to 50 k but wants to repurpose it and get a 3 to 4 , which from recent sales , suggests he would lose a lot of money ...am I missing something here?

They look like manufacturing defects which would probably knock it down to a 9 or 9.2 (from my own experience) .. the tear is gonna knock it down, obviously, even more..my guess is 7 to 8 depending on the grader

I dont think so..unfortunately, you will pretty much have to do all the leg work

most likely this was a drug addict and that they will try to unload it at a comic retail store

I've been selling on mycomicshop for past couple years..people not paying for their winning bid at auctions has increased in frequency but not so bad that it has become an issue.

what I would like to see for prescreen is give some estimated grade on rejects

why do elements of Picard season 3 remind me of some recent Venom? maybe the writers also read venom

So my ME slab (for misprinted Mcfarlane banner) was delivered/accepted to CGC on Dec 5th but still no official submission. Is there a reason (other than they just haven't opened it yet) why this is taking so long to be opened and submitted? I placed the ME initials all over the box original submission number 4127057 @CGC Mike

I am guessing he was there on oct 5 to sign (for those who get in real early) and wont be back again till this week

my guess is that they are tears on interior page corners, tears that resulted in corner pieces falling off over time

so this is interesting...the 'dont allow offers' disappears with auction and Buy it now..when I posted my auction the other day, without a buy it now..there was no button for 'dont allow offers' just like in the middle...so maybe just a glitch with Ebay..either way, I just decided to take my offerings off Ebay...too much inconsistency

is this a thing on Ebay and do people actually make it work? Over my last few Ebay auctions, people have offered me extreme low ball offers ...like 25 on a book worth around 200 or 300 on a book worth 1200...I decline , then they make another offer for ten dollars more than last time. So annoying I have just started setting automatic limits. (Ebay doesnt seem to 'not allow 'offers) . I wonder if people actually accept these low ball offers enough to make it worthwhile for those offering low ball offers...where they do it over and over.

MCS is scheduled to have an auction for a 9.8 on jan 2...maybe bid on that one But my guess is that it will level out around 1600..Personally, I am happy with my signed 9.4
