  1. I will be sending some books off for pressing/grading. Want to make these posts here first so that we can see how they turn out later.

  4. 9.4/9.4 I think the seller was dead on in grading. Dudnt know this book was popular, what's up with it?
  5. Press it. I think you could get a 9.0-9.2 out of it.
  6. Could come back anywhere between 3.0 and 4.0. Cannot be higher.
  7. 7.0 But it doesn't look pressed. If it was properly pressed you wouldnt have the overhang creases. You may want to contact the one who pressed it and let them know.
  8. Those waves are weird, looks like moisture or something. As is it could get as low as 6.0. If it is due to water, it could even go lower.
  9. 9.0 but this is a perfect pressing candidate, make sure you press befire submitting to cgc
  10. I tapped out of silver age. Got the keys I could still get at reasonable prices (like your X-men 14s, 49s and 60s) and then moved onto the Golden Age books that remained stagnant for 15 years.
  11. Yeah, I saw that with GA as well. But whatever, let those books rot. On their end there's money tied up, they can't keep buying forever and one day it will be dumping time. Anyways, speaking of coppers heating up, I am surprised lots of X-Men aren't. Like those days of future past books, they just look stagnant. X-Men 120 aint overly crazy either, at least in the grades I am looking at. The Detective Killer Croc issues aren't growing too much either.
  12. All prints of TMNT are going up right now. Just my luck as I was in the market for one. My guess is that people who had those comics growing up are now at an age where they can cherish them as "investments" and heirlooms and have the disposable income to get them.
  13. The market backs it up. Canadian variants are worth quite a bit more when CGC identifies them: vs By the way, that Canadian variant ain't rare at all... in Canada.
  14. Post in the "Ask CGC" section. Since it's a mistake, they will have you send the book back at their cost and reslab it properly with the green label.
  15. I would love to see some pics. Maybe in the PGM Forum with a "results are in" post. Apparently, CGC has been tighter on grading recently and those books could help us all assess the current grading standards over there.
