  1. None. That boat's motor died and is adrift in a current
  2. Granted it was an Express, but I noticed that once it moved out of G/E/I it rocketed thru QC, Finalizing, Shipped. Like in hours. Wonder if they made G/E/I more inclusive of other steps - so where you could expect order to wallow a few days at other statuses, it doesnt now. So once theyre done at GEI, you can expect books on truck within next 24-48 hrs.
  3. LOL! CGC TATs now have a Greggy Quotient like posting TATs have to incorporate aahis metric point like a geological era.... 8 moderns shipped, delivered after Greggy Cutoff
  4. Hmm, fast(er) TAT on an Express that also showed some slight wording changes to status changes. 1x Express (no addl services) Delivered: 10/1 Rcvd: 10/5 SFG: 10/5 G/E/I: 10/5 QC/Finalizing: 10/11 Shipped: 10/11
  5. Oh man. Just got classic Star Trek flashbacks to the Trouble with Tribbles episode...but loose floppies cascading everywhere.
  6. Have only sent 1 Walkthru, but it was September. But it was 3 days from delivered to shipped
  7. ::Matt Nelson cackles madly in a dark lair:: ::Blackstone board shifts pieces on a boardroom map::
  8. For fun, google "plastic shortage" and read horror stories of supply chain shortages and increases demand for plastic. The Feburary winter storm that shut down all of TX, all the way to Gulf, absolutely FUBARed the petro refineries that produce majority of raw plastic resin supplies for manufacturers. What I'm saying is, every industry from soda to car parts to anything involving plastic is backlogged and short what they need to make plastic parts. Pretty sure that's why CGC raised prices, not necessarily profits but keeping up with costs. Would not doubt it if CGC was sitting on graded books ready to slab, but was rationing the actual cases as supplies allowed
  9. OMG you are in for an unfortunately long wait. Like 100+ biz days at CCS and another 100+ at grading? I and others had Fast Track Value orders delivered in April clear out in September. I did not use CCS though.
  10. Better, but not great w/debt ceiling talks. I have portfolio w/47% in VOO S&P 500, rest various bonds, Intl, and mid-cap. has held steady enough, increasing overall, but lost quite a few gains in last two weeks.Traders are so panicky. Anyway....COMICS! Need this TAT logjam to break. Kids' braces aint paying for themselves.
  11. Dude, what? No....just NO not cool. I mean if they could say, "whoops wrong status set/premature. Still in queue" but nothing at all? That's all kinds of wrong. Especially considering horror stories of lost for 2 months then found, to start grading wait again. Best of luck @thingsofstuff
  12. Well imagine, at announced higher pricing there was the MAD dash to submit orders. Well those packages have largely been opened, inventoried, and cleared out, to become a massive logjam at grader tables, slabbing room, and shipping floor
  13. o/ internet high-5! FWIW, watching signer videos on Insta/FB, I think remarque books usually take place after all the signings so yours will probably be waaay back at end of queue for this event.
  14. YES! My Marc Silvestri InHouse Signing moved to G/E/I! Soon I won't have to scroll down past a bunch of completed subs to check on this one. Cutoff was July 5th so happy to see movement even if it was apparently another unannounced visit.
  15. Some ppl have had random orders turnaround light speed. Case in point, I had a STANDARD order w/66 day posted TAT complete in like ~3 calendar weeks. Thank the grader gods and dont question.
  16. I don't think they can do that. Barring constant stream of Modern books, based on how some people's stuff will move way faster than or way slower than TAT...AND given the recent logjam break in VALUE tier subs where many of us waiting for months saw movement in space of a week, I honestly think it isnt constant movement. Like it's very possible, they let VALUE/ECONOMY subs sit for months then pulled an all hands on deck for two weeks to clear out backlog. Probably same with MAGAZINE. Then I and couple others got some STANDARDS back in two weeks when it's a 60 day wait. So yeah, I think they let some batches sit idle for a bit.
  17. Hey @ChrispyC66! TAG YOU'RE IT!....or next anyway. 7x VALUE FAST TRACK (no addl svcs) Delivered: 4/24 CGC Rcvd: 6/14 SFG: 6/14 Charged: 7/15 G/E/I: 8/24 Grading/QC: 9/13 F/I/S: 9/15
  18. This has been my experience, in fact, you could submit a Modern that was $100-200 above $400 cap and they probably won't care. The only time I have seen anything happen was, an ASM #129 submitted as STANDARD a couple years back. It was graded, returned, and on my next submission charge, they added ~$3.50 to bill as separate line item. I was all WTF? Compared Sub# it was attributed to to my notes, sure enough, they back charged it to the ASM becuase it came in about a .5 grade over FMV for the $1k Standard tier qualification ::shrug::
  19. I jumped the queue somehow...3x Standard (no addl services) Delivered: 8/23 CGC Rcvd: 8/25 SFG: 8/25 G/E/I: 9/2 G/QC: 9/10 Shipped: 9/14 est TAT on arrival ~66 days. Total biz days from delivered ~16 days. Maybe it's Karma to make up for the Fast Track Value that's been circling the Bermuda Triangle since April
  20. Do you mind me asking whose sig? The Marc Silvestri sub cutoff was 7/05 and yet no word if he's come in to do it yet and I'm gettin' antsy.
  21. Yep I was giving bad info! (dangit) So created order for Moderns - broken into 3x fast track, rest slow. Order form did break apart at tiers w/separate $5 charge per. I guess the "across board" $5 charge is only if you're submitting 25+ at same service tier. Where the sub is broken apart into separate logical 25x orders but only charged the one handling whether for 25, 50, or 100 books Sorry, shouldnt have spoken up out of turn.
  22. I liked Express, but as a first time submission at this tier, Walkthru is pure, 1st class "peel me a grape" luxury Walkthru x1 (no addl services) Delivered: 9/7 Received: 9/8 SFG: 9/8 Charged: 9/9 G/E/I: 9/9 Grading/QC: 9/9 Shipped: 9/10
  23. Well wait - because I'm repeating what Greggy said elsewhere and someone said you'll get 2x $5 charge. I think if it's 25+ in same tier, same box it's 1 handling charge. If it's multiple tiers tho, then multiple $5 hits. This racket is hard to estimate when you get into the nickel&diming
  24. Send under one order. They will break apart into separate tiers for you, but should only be charged a single $5 handling charge (FWIW).
  25. Sorry no, but don't get hopes up. I have FT Value, delivered 4/24 - so just after @bmdully been in G/E/I blackhole for about two weeks now.
