  1. Absolutely. My billing is home, but have delivered to my work since it's sig required and I'd miss dropoff otherwise.
  2. 4x Standard tier (no addl services) Delivered: 2/10 Received: 3/5 Charged: 3/23 SFG: 3/8 Grading/QC: 3/17 F/I/S: 3/26 Really excited to get any of my current, pending submissions back since my Claremont signing books that were SFG on 2/26 are still SFG. Guess that "expedited" three week turnaround became a pipe dream too, LOL.
  3. Keep us updated, I never knew a comic could or would be rejected.
  4. I did not do inhouse CCS, just straight signing, but my Claremonts have been at SFG since 2/26. So yours pushing thru this fast seems unusual. Is the 2/12 received the original delivery date for your submission? I've always thought CCS happens after signing, but it may be possible that pressed yours before hand? Regardless, if there's a question, you can send an email to customer service via Contact Us form below to ask if it was pressed and they'll respond quickly.
  5. Oh I saw that...spend quite some time on CGC's twitter & FB page and other comic forums so that I may divine through hearsay just what's happening in their dungeons. See the funny thing about my Claremont's is they were marked received on 1/12, cutoff for submission was 2/8. So I'm WELL inside the assigned window and in fact, I thought I might be more towards the front of the line. The other signings I've done were TATed <= 10 biz days of the signing event which is why this delay is weird to me. Oh well, CGC gets to it when they get to it.
  6. The drip continues...5x Modern, no addl services. Delivered: 1/8 Received: 1/15 Charged: 1/29 SFG: 3/9 Grading/QC: 3/12 F/I/S: 3/17 Crazy that slipped thru in timely manner when I have a handful from Claremont signing in SFG status since 2/26! Does anyone know, is the CGC-SS 3 week turnaround guarantee 3 calendar weeks or 21 business days?
  7. Incredible. My Claremont signing submission went SFG on 2/26 and is still at that status. But a slow boat modern submission that went SFG on 3/9 has already rolled over to Grading/QC. It's so haphazardly unpredictable that it really is up to the gods of the Grader Queues as to how quickly your subs will move on.
  8. Don't worry, it's stored somewhere. I've made use of about 4 or 5 of these signings and it's always gone like (slow) clockwork. Your books will stay RCVD until the signing. Within about 2-3 days after the signing event, your books will be marked Sched for Grading. Then you're queued up on the 3 week turnaround. Unless you opted for press too. In which case your books stay RCVD for 3 weeks after signing then updated to a new RCVD date once back from CCS.
  9. 7x Modern no addl services. Delivered: 12/28 Rcvd: 1/6 Charged: 1/13 SFG: 2/22 Grading/QC: 3/2 F/I/S: 3/4 While they sat in the bin forever, at least the SFG to completion process moved along.
  10. This is why they require InHouse subs have artist's initials on outside of box (same for Express & Walkthru tiers) so they sort those first from the rest of the "scrubs." I would assume that and fact the InHouse are a temporary(?) reaction to closed cons doesnt justify any two way split in operations.
  11. That's what I've been saying on last 5 or six subs from Dec on. With Claremont signing currently being graded, hoping they will catch up on backlog before the Miller signing. Then after that, reign in the InHouse signings a bit to allow a return to "normal" TATs.
  12. That's kind of the fun part about the long wait. When you're wondering what even was in that sub? Then it goes SFG and the sub# activates with your list of books you can review what you sent.
  13. You understand the lay of the land. Once the books come back from CCS, the countdown for grading begins. The biggest problem is CGC is so backed up from InHouse signings, that it really is taking them 2-3 weeks to even check books in.
  14. Having sat through CCS wait times and grading backlogs amidst active Cons and their truckload of submissions bumping things at end of 2019, I thought I was pretty hardened to this glacial pace. But the current state is even more tedious. Delivered: 2/1 Received: 2/22 That's like fifteen business days just to start the current 43 day Modern turnaround wait. And still waiting for a 2/10 delivered Standard sub to be marked received. ::sigh::
  15. FWIW, Got your wish Skybolt. 6x Modern Slow Track - no addl services Delivered: 12/7 Rcvd: 12/15 Charged: 12/16 SFG 2/2 Grading/QC: 2/11 F/I/S: 2/12 Right at 40 business days. But it's still hard to exclude a whole lot of weekends & holidays from the internal clock when you're refreshing every hour.
  16. No. The rcvd won't update till they come *back* from CCS in, oh, another month or two.
  17. Ugh that stinks...but makes me feel more sure about a hypothesis I've had. See my books (modern - slow) were marked received on 12/15 and moved to SFG couple days ago. The variability between different submitter's progress makes me feel certain that once books are checked in, they aren't put in a general queue for next available. They're put into a grader's queue. So now beholden to that person's speed. So while you're waiting for "Grader #3" to get to yours, mine assigned to "Grader #8" just happens to be busting them out. Could be wrong, but the way I rationalize to myself. Best of luck on the wait.
  18. No. When Pressing is involved, the only movement you see is an updated "Received" date. Indicating rcvd back from CCS. Then you get to start the advertised TAT countdown for grading.
  19. Thank god they ARE alive over there! 5x Value slow track (no addl services) Delivered: 10/2/2020 CGC Rcvd: 10/7/2020 CGC Charged: 10/14/2020 SFG: 11/5/2020 Grading/QC: 1/21/2020 F/I/S: 1/25/2020 I wish the rest of you, especially Value track, the best of luck. May the odds be ever in your favor.
  20. I don't and anecdotal reports in this thread seem to say no. Like at this point, you're shaving a few days off a regular sub TAT, but not any great number
  21. As far as I know, FL has never really been under any lockdown orders and CGC doors were never shut. What happened was, to make up for cons, they started hosting InHouse signing events. With a 3 week pronised grading TAT, that "concierge" service, bumps regular subs back. And back.
  22. Probably all of above but probably supply chain is biggest problem?I would think that everything could be handled InHouse where there's a delay via OT & pulling staff from here to there for a day. But what if there's a hiccup from plastic supplier of slabs? Orprinting machine requires maintenance? Now you're waiting on a 3rd party. And feel your pain.i'm Value tier 10/15 rcvd.
  23. They would get really messed up behind taking subs direct from Cons, but I feel like they were once a month hiccups. Now to make up for no cons, the InHouse Signings provide convenience, but are like a weekly speed bump that keep negatively affecting TATs.
  24. For those who haven't seen it, this is CGC posted InHouse signings schedule that will further bump our regular subs back. Note, these are artist appearance dates, not deadlines: January 18 - Mark Brooks January 19 - Graham Nolan & Chuck Dixon January 21-22 - Arthur Suydam January 22 - Renee Witterstaetter February 8-10 - Ryan Stegman & Donny Cates February 11 - Jason David Frank February 18-19 - Joe Rubinstein February 22-23 - Chris Claremont March 4-5 - Kevin Eastman & Ben Bishop
  25. Not for certain, assume 3, Christmas Eve, Day, and NY. But something I think about is how the Friday before a major con CGC attends is not "considered" in timeline because so many staff are taken away for on-site work. I wonder if they treat an InHouse Signing day same way? Especially a larger draw like their multi creators at same time or Claremont two day events.
