  1. Tom, those are great looking GL's You know, for silver age collectors, it just doesn't get any better than ten cent DC's. Here's a couple more Detectives. These are from the Cleveland collection. #266
  2. I love these 15 cent Thors. I just received this one today from the 'bay.
  3. Those are some great looking books, Capt. I've always liked those late silver age Spideys.
  4. Great list, Arex! Quite a few sites I've never seen before.
  5. You're right about that. I don't even think it would be in the top 25.
  6. Yeah, I call this one "Batman vs. the Giant Flea". I'm thinking about starting a thread called "Dumbest DC Covers".
  7. Thanks, Timulty. Those Cap Marvels aren't too shabby either! Hey, Sal. Yes, I continue working on my SA Detective run. These are pretty nice, and I have a couple more to pick up at the Charlotte con in February, including a beautiful copy of #266. Hope to see you there!
  8. Just picked up a couple of nice Detectives. Batman vs. the giant flea...
  9. That's a beauty!! Don't you just love those banana yellow covers?
  10. Tim, awesome JLA. Mine sharing which issues you have of this run? Your PC copies are incredible. Do you see much difference in the PC's and just the regular, ordinary 9.4's that you have?
  11. Incredible books, Tim. Would you say that the PC books are nicest SA pedigrees? It sure looks like it to me!
  12. That #282 has it all — an alien, a dragon, and a Robin shock pose!!! Awesome cover!!!
  13. The 295 is a 9.0 with white pages. It looks nicer than a 9.0 (It is a pgx 9.0, so I don't know what that means). I had also bid on a beautiful #305 (9.4 w white pages) but missed on that one. The 290 is super glossy. I'd say it's about a 9.0 (maybe 9.2) with off-white/white pages. I've been trying to pick up high grade Tecs from about 275 to 326, if anybody has any they'd like to contribute. They are tough to find in HG. As I said before, those are nice copies you have there Comic Book Guy. Do you have any others to post?
  14. One more cool Tec. Pardon the glare on this one please.
  15. Hey CBG. Those are nice Detectives!! Here's one I just picked up recently. Just a little variation on the Robin shock pose.
  16. Great list arex. Here's one I don't think has been listed yet: Archangels
  17. Here's a nice Thor 165 that I just picked up. Not a scarce book, but one of my favorite Thor covers.
  18. You shouldn't have any problem. I was at a small local con this weekend, and I think every dealer had at least one copy of this book. One guy had three!! Good luck!
  19. Well, it just goes to show you that I no NOTHING about Golden Age books. I think I'll just stick with Silver (Surfer). Here's a nice #4 I got a month or so ago. JB rocks!!!
