  1. A complete coverless copy with no issues to the pages such as any brittleness, pieces missing, tape, etc will command fairly high in my opinion though. With the huge popularity of Batman and more movies in the works, etc etc I can see $100k in the near future.
  2. Increase in BP really!? Not that it's already high enough for us bidders (But then again, when we enter our bids, the % will factor in automatically before we agree to bid that amount). Not to mention sales tax we have to pay if you live in certain states (CA for me). Just keeps adding up.
  3. Just don't discuss PQ with Jaydog.. I warn you
  4. This book is a MUST for any Spidey fan!! Had I not own a copy I would be tempted to buy this. Good luck!
  5. I've seen that video before when it was first placed up for viewing. Just incredible! The pages look so newsstand fresh, there's a lot to love about that copy. In my head I was thinking, wow look at him flipping through a $3 million book like it was just like any other comic book. I probably wouldn't have the cojones to do such a thing had I owned it, fearing that I may tear a page, drop the book, causing more spine creases if any, or all of the above
  6. Yeah saw that too. That 5.5 is stunning! I think it will do very well.
  7. I prefer the colors and presentation of the top book, the 8.5 copy
  8. If the pages are not snapping off or cracking when you turn the pages and if the edges, corners, etc are fine like that as well, than yes the book is not brittle. There is also slightly brittle where a part of the book has some brittleness, could possibly be as small as an edge of a spine or a corner of a page. I have a book graded by CGC with slightly brittle pages and I wasn't sure where the brittleness was on the book because I was able to flip it with no problems raw. But to answer your question on an estimated value, based on the pictures and how to book looks pretty beat up and missing the centerfold it seems, I'd say around $25k-$30k
  9. Paper brittle? Would make a huge difference if it is.
  10. That's exactly what I did too. I wish I can just hold on to them all.
  11. Biggest surprise for me was the Terrific 5 for $37k!!! Wow what a sale! Kinda feel bad letting go of my 8.5 copy a few years ago for around $16k. Ugh!!
  12. Unrelated to the auction, but someone just listed a whole smorgasboard of mega keys including Cap 1, Bat 1, and AS 8 on the exchange. Also an AF 15 and X-men 1 in 7.0. Looks like from one person
  13. 2.0 due to the large staining on the back and pieces missing in front cover as well as soiling
  14. Beautiful copy, congrats! Loving the colors on it too!
  15. With so many copies available in almost all grades, I predict prices will dip later on like AF 15. I think AF 15 is like the "poster child" on what could happen when prices explode all of a sudden and then take a slight hit in a year or so.
  16. Surprised it only got a 5.0. Congrats to you!
  17. 5.0.. Stain on back cover and diagonal triangular crease also on back is what kept me away from grading the book as a 5.5
  18. The seller did receive positive feedback with his ASM 1 sale of $4k.. Unless of course it's a bogus sale and a friend bought it to leave feedback
