  1. that's definitely not what she said
  2. Another IGB special. Certainly a possibility it will sell for asking price.
  3. Cool thanks! Got my boner back on screen
  4. Me too! I've been wondering what happened to everyone's sig lines
  5. I received the postcard today too. I guess I'm lucky
  6. You can go to Rob React's page where he lists down books in the $100,000 club or go to the Heritage archives and can find out which books now are worth a mil or more, and that's only the tip of it. There are some more out there in private collections. Some have never seen the light of day in so many years.
  7. Cool! Thanks again Adam Strange. I'll definitely be doing some reading and listening tonight.
  8. I think we need people who will stand up and buy books with lower PQ rather than paying premiums for white paged copies. It's one less person to be bidding up those kinds of books
  9. Just thought of something that would've been great to watch.. what about a personal interview of Jon being recorded on cam talking about his life with comics, experiences, goals, and what's next for him after selling his collection. As one of the younger collectors who has always had a passion in collecting vintage material especially golden age, it's fun to know some of the roots on what got them started and how life was like back in the days. I just find the history of a collector to be intriguing and fascinating.
  10. I'd be very careful where I'll be stepping. You just never see these kinds of collections ever in person. Would've been a treat. I'd even settle for Webcam viewing
  11. Mannn I'd pay for admission to step into that room. Just pure awesomeness!
  12. In light of your new pix, I will say 1.8 Hoping for a 2.0 as well for you. GL and keep us posted.
  13. Yes, I agree that movies have pushed the values of those books much higher than before and have gained and/or renewed popularity, but it's not always the case. It also depends if the movie had good reviews or not. Unfortunately for the FF movies and the Green Lantern movie, it didn't quite help the value of their first issues as much as AF 15, AS 8, SC 4, etc. It seems that FF #1 and SC #22 are good buys now but really cloudy in the future.
  14. And you have a 2nd!?! COngrats man! If you ever want to sell your lower graded copy in the future, pls lmk
  15. I think AF 15 is the safe bet. FF 1 may have a chance to perform well later on, but no one really knows... At least you can see the past performances on both books to help decide what you want.
  16. Saw that book to at CC. It was a gorgeous looking 8.0 copy. Has tremendous eye appeal and looks higher graded if you ask me. Maybe it's gonna be listed in their next even auction? Inquiring minds wanna know too.
  17. Wow this is HUGE!!!! Gonna be a lot of fireworks come May! GL to Mr. Berk with the auction.
