  1. Would be interesting to watch after what the 8.5 sold for previously. I'm predicting this copy will end between $200-$225k.
  2. Was it in a different label other than CGC? If so, that may be why or perhaps it was the wrong season to sell a big book or because it was in a different label, bidders overlook it. So many variables. With 7.5 copies selling for around that price now, I can't see another Af 15 in 8.5 condition sell for that low. Lucky and a terrific buy for the buyer to purchase that book at that time. The market can swing here and there in short notice, AF #15's are on the up and up again.
  3. I was being sarcastic with the comment. I am in the camp that white paged copies sell for more than cream-offwhite page or lesser. But if pages here offwhite-white or even offwhite, that could be debatable since CGC is not quite consistent with PQ. To each his/her own conclusions. I have no problem if J-Dog or anyone says otherwise thinks the opposite because I believe what I want to believe and everyone has their own opinions. Perhaps prices on ST #110 has gone down to reality after all the movie hype and such and we start to see more of a plateau in value? I understand that some books were graded "softly" or defects that can be pressed which boosts up the value of a book in auction. I don't think that will ever die down. One things for sure is that ST #110 will always be a key Marvel book that I think everyone can agree on.
  4. Wow what a great story you posted congrats!!! What a dream it is to be able to find vintage books like this with value, let alone full runs of ASM and FF!?!? Anyways, I'll take a stab at the grade. I'll say 2.5 on your ASM #1.
  5. Ugh should've went for the Tec 33 CGC 2.5 that Metro had late last year. I believe Peter owns it now. Strong price for the 1.8 copy that's for sure. As predicted lower grade keys will get a boost in value...
  6. I think you can add around $2k on top of that copy IF it didn't have chipping
  7. I think I predicted around $150k for it. Eh close enough .. About where an 8.5 should be.
  8. Surprised this book hasn't sold yet. It has a very attractive price. Af 15's hitting $5k a point in lower grades from previous sales.
  9. Sold some cheaper books on CL and OfferUp. I also got my fair share of low ball offers too. Free listing with no fees and cash on the spot. Can't beat that!
  10. AF 15 all day every day! You can't go wrong with it and prices seem to be going up now up for now
  11. I'm on Chrome and do not see the Open the attached file "new_forum_old_Chrome.txt"
  12. How can something like this be stolen that easily? That rocket firing Boba Fett prototype is probably a six figure item if I'm not mistaken.
  13. Baffles me how some people still fall for it.. Just too good to be true.
  14. Can't wait to see you again Ed! You always have one of the best selection of books in stock
  15. Congrats on the grade. It seems that I am always 0.5 point lower than what CGC grades.
  16. Forgot to mention for those in lower grades oh and no marvel chipping
