  1. strong! Dailies are around 1K if it has decent content (obviously better content is more) A Sunday sold criminally cheap recently for 1.7K recently (I would have bid had I known it was going that low). I don't think it was fully stated what the illo was used for, so 3.1k surprised me (and a friend who was actually bidding and tapped out well before 3k) Malvin
  2. I uploaded a great strip with Opus and Ernie Dinklefwat! CAF Link I also updated the sketchbook page that comes with buying the complete collection CAF Link Thanks for looking Malvin

  6. considering that the full story is thousands of pages, I wonder which story they will published, because I assume it won't be everything. Malvin
  7. Just read it. Very interesting! I am tempted to put over/under on your estimates (always easier to do that once someone sets a line).. we shall see if I have time to do that informatively! Malvin
  8. The easy answer is maybe to just drop the pre-auction estimates... Malvin
  9. There use to be lots of more obscure auctions where I was able to get stuff that falls through the cracks. Comicconnect, Hakes, MyComicShop. Those have become known now Malvin
  10. Thanks Yoram, but what I see there is someone who hasn't had new work in a few years. He also has no social media presence. That's my definition of disappeared! Malvin
  11. Whatever happened to him? He seems to have disappeared. Malvin
  12. No problem. I'm zero help on the rest though, no clue. Malvin
  13. there is already another thread under a cryptic name!
  14. ah ok. Now I understand. Thanks Chris!. heh, considering how busy I am, I shouldn't even be spending any time on the boards! Besides, I don't collect or read comics anymore so the OA boards make sense. Malvin
  15. Stupid question, but is Voldy a boardie username? Malvin
  16. I'm content with how my consignments (Byrne West Coast Avengers and Davis Wolverine splash) bid on a few things and lost. I think the final price of those items were still decent deals but I didn't have to have them so I'm ok with losing out. Hope the consigners and bidders did well today! Malvin
  17. I dont collect slabbed comics or understand the mentality, but I have seen $100 sketches that go for $200 just because the are on a 9.8 blank cover, so to some it does matter (but not to me) Malvin
  18. Hi Folks, My consignments on comiclink are ending on Thursday. They all have no reserve so the next bid could win it for you! The items and current prices are 1. John Byrne West Coast Avengers page - Where Mephisto and Master Pandemonium Reveal to the Scarlet Witch that Her Children are not real!- $485 comiclink link 2. Alan Davis & Mark Farmer Wolverine vs. Sabretooth action splash! - - $240 comiclink link Thanks for looking! Malvin
  19. Hi Folks, I just uploaded the cover to JLA Year One Issue 2 by Barry Kitson! CAF Link Thanks for looking Malvin
  20. Not to derail the thread, but I thought the DPS acronym is correct regardless. In my mind, it is either: DPS = Double Page Splash (where both boards combined to show a single large image with no panels) DPS = Double Page Spread (where both boards combined to form many panels) That is just my own interpretation. Does anyone else think the same as me? Malvin
  21. Heh, great analysis! Yes, the amount of good comics I have read over the years, plus the heightened expectations due to the hype, did not help my assessment Malvin
  22. I actually didn't read Kraven's Last Hunt until the last few years. And I wasn't that blown away. It was OK but I won't be the ones spending the big bucks for pages from that run. I did read Swamp Thing and Preach though (but never got into Sandman) Malvin
