It'll be up on the boards for 3 days, so act fast
  2. I think there's probably been pent-up demand. The copies that sold in 2015 and 2016 (including pedigree copies) never made it anywhere near this level. But then, I don't think any copies have come up for sale (other than the 9.4 posted here) in a while (My memory might be failing me though, I'll have to take a look)
  3. Daredevil #7 (Marvel, 1965) CGC NM- 9.2 Off-white to | Lot #91208 | Heritage Auctions $5,019.00 (the last one in GPA sold for $2,345 in 2016 )
  4. Buyer's premium is part of your bid. Bid what you want to pay with the buyer's premium included. Heritage does the math for you.
  5. Daredevil #75 (Apr 1971, Marvel) CGC 9.4 OW Pages | eBay I bought the Don/Maggie Thompson copy, so this sweet, sweet copy can be yours!
  6. It's interesting as the two Tec 27s are close enough in grade that they really are competing. They're in the same slice of the market. I don't know how it'll play out.
  7. I made an image a while ago, showing the differences in the size and shape of Daredevil #1s. They can vary wildly.
  8. Yeah, it's automated. Unless you opt out, if you have books you've bought from Heritage over a certain dollar value, they end up showing as "taking offers" and the default offer is not reflective of the actual cost to move the book.
  9. To be fair, there are some other books they could have sprung on us to get me interested, but unrestored Action #1s and unrestored Detective 27s are guaranteed to get me interested.

  11. To that point- I've RARELY written about Hake's and here I am posting about them here and on my blog, because of this Tec 27.
  12. I wonder what sort of deal they're getting. If Hake's is serious about jumping up to the next level, then they might be aggressive with their deals on books like this. Either that or the consignor also has other stuff and Hake's is a one-stop-shop.
  13. It's a whole new level for Hakes with this auction. It's an interesting step up.
