  1. No, the listing isn't up yet. They had an article in scoop and I reached out to them for the scan you see above.
  2. I'm really interested in the collection and in seeing how this book in particular does at Hake's. I imagine it will do well, because it's a fresh looking copy, but it's a new venue for a book like this.
  3. It does, but who knows if it's just the scan. I will say the handwriting certainly pops! That's like a $50,000 scribble.
  4. I'd think so, but weird things have happened with this stuff before. $1,000,000 is still a big number.
  5. I've wanted a 9.8 copy of this book for a while. I put in a "win at all costs" bid just to save me another two year or whatever of waiting to see one for sale. I'll take it for $60!
  6. The Rockford copy is a million dollar book now, I think. It previously sold for $115,000
  7. ComicConnect : Detective Comics # 27 CGC 6.0 Rockford Hakes to Auction Detective Comics #27 CGC 5.0 | It's All Just Comics (no listing page on Hakes' yet)
  8. That's a strong 8.5 price, for sure. Makes a 9,000 9.0 look like a bargain
  9. There was a type in the listing of the 96 so I had to end the listing and restart it on Wednesday to coincide with the ending of the rest of the books. I'm a dork and I know it.
  10. Still winning books, hopefully, but I got these so far. It's a good haul
  11. Yeah, it seems like a reminder of just how tough that book really is.
  12. Yeah, some were pretty strong. That DD7 was around 2x the last DD7 CGC 9.2 in GPA (owned by some knucklehead ) I won the 47 at $275 which is more than 2x the last regular 9.4. The Tales of Suspense (which I also chased) run was also pretty strong. Seems like people are responding to that pedigree.
  13. I have the Suscha News copy so I wasn't in the running for that one. I expected it to be pretty competitive.
  14. Yeah, I was happy. There were only a few that I could target. Either they weren't nice enough or I already had a copy from another pedigree, so getting this many out of the the handful I aimed at was pretty cool.
  15. I won four JOHN G. FANTUCCHIO PEDIGREE copy books last night. I have 55 pedigree books in my 1-157 set now. DAREDEVIL #96 CGC 9.4 NM DAREDEVIL #66 CGC 9.4 NM DAREDEVIL #60 CGC 9.4 NM DAREDEVIL #47 CGC 9.4 NM
  16. (unless you're trying to buy one, in that case )
