  3. Hopefully these slabs will be alright. I've been getting most of my slabs back with spots/scuffs recently. 12 Book Mechanical Error Submission 2023-07-27 Delivered to CGC/CGC Scanned Delivery 2023-08-02 CGC Received/SFG 2023-08-08 GEI 2023-08-10 G/QC 2023-08-10 Shipped (w/ 8-11 Ship Date)
  4. @musicmeta, was the package marked with "ME"s? I have an ME being processed that was received in 4 business days after delivery to CGC. I had another ME delivered in June that was received in 3 business days.
  5. 12 Book Mechanical Error Submission 2023-07-27 Delivered to CGC/CGC Scanned Delivery 2023-08-02 CGC Received/SFG 2023-08-08 GEI I feel that part of the purpose/usefulness of this thread is to share turnaround experiences so that people can determine what current turnaround is (outside of the stated CGC turnaround times) and to decide if their submissions are "on schedule" or not. If not, you can take appropriate action. My 2 cents...
  6. I had some FedEx issues in the spring with 3 submissions being shipped back to me: 1) Driver left shipment on my porch without getting my signature (I was home), 2) Driver came to my porch, rang my doorbell, but wouldn't let me sign for the package on the electronic scanner because he was concerned about covid (although he didn't have a problem debating this with me for 5 minutes while neither of us was wearing a mask), and 3) Package was out for delivery, but was never delivered on the scheduled delivery date. The driver just returned to his terminal with my shipment. I had success resolving these issues by calling the FedEx customer service number (1.800.GoFedEx). When I spoke with the CS person, I made it clear that I wanted to register a complaint with the local FedEx office responsible for the shipments. An individual from this office called me twice (2 of the 3 complaints), listened to my concerns, and I feel he addressed them. As stated previously, delivery drivers seem to be subcontractors. If you don't have the local FedEx people manage their subcontractors, it's likely you will continue to have issues with your shipments. I have the good fortune of living 5 minutes away from a FedEx Print and Ship location. I've gotten my last few shipments delivered there for pickup. The shipment seems safe there waiting for me. The FedEx people (subcontractors also perhaps) always ask me for my ID and I need to provide them with the tracking number. I'm not anchored to the house waiting for a FedEx shipment on delivery day. No FedEx delivery drivers. Life is good now...
  7. I just got back an ME shipment with spots/scuffs in the back center of most of the slabs. So another ME... 12 Book Mechanical Error Submission 2023-07-27 Delivered to CGC/CGC Scanned Delivery 2023-08-02 CGC Received/SFG

  9. Sorry my submission leapfrogged you guys. I have a theory... I think for submissions in the same tier, submissions with a higher declared value move faster. My submission's declared value iss $12,450, and I suspect that's why it's moving through so quickly.
  10. I've tried to refresh my submissions on the CGC Submission Tracking page a few times within the last hour. I get the spinning wheel for a few seconds, and then the (inaccurate) message about not having any submissions submitted in the last 8 (shouldn't this be 16) months.
  11. From the CGC homepage, menu item Submit,..Submission Forms, Link "View my packing slips". I have a pdf writer installed (bullzip) that acts like a printer, but allows me to print to a pdf file instead of a printer. ..
  12. 2023-07-07 G/QC. Looks like they'll ship Monday.
  13. @Jesse Larson, CGC Mike may chime in, but it will likely be 2-3 business days before you receive a reply from submissions@cgccomics.com. Just FYI. Good luck!
  14. 15 Book Mechanical Error Submission 2023-06-22 Delivered to CGC 2023-06-27 CGC Received/SFG 2023-07-06 GEI Come On CGC! 15 Good Slabs!! You Can Do It!
  15. I've stayed signed in on both PC and phone (main site and message board) for most/all of the afternoon (4 1/2 hours). Much improved!
  16. Hi Mike, I think this is different. Since I agreed to the new CGC terms yesterday, I've been logged out of the main website and the chat boards at least 4 times in a little over 24 hours. It appears that I was just logged out of both after logging in 2 hours ago; I think I'm being my remembered login is being unremembered after 2 hours. This is on an android phone and a windows PC both using Chrome.
  17. There's dialogue on the board about issues with the login/stay in experience on the main site and the chat boards since maintenance/legalese verification on Tuesday Jun 27th. The biggest issue being mentioned is that after logging in, some members (including myself) are being logged out of the system in 2-4 hours. Prior to accepting the updated legalese yesterday, I would be logged out every 5-7 days, not 2-4 hours. It's annoying to log in every 2-4 hours. Thanks for your attention to his concern.
  18. My experience is similar to this. Since I had to agree to the legalese yesterday, I seem to get signed out about every two hours. Prior, I might get logged out every 5-7 days. I'm also having to log into the chat boards independently. (Also booing...) But I don't seem to need to logout before logging in again on either the main site or the chat board.

  20. @Sweet Lou 14, you may want to post that you're having an issue in the "Problem With Creating Submission..." thread in the Ask CGC forum. Sometimes, CGC personnel check that forum over the weekend. And at least by Monday morning, they will definitely see there is an issue.
  21. Hi @Sweet Lou 14, please see Recently, this error has been very common. Especially on weekends. From personal experience, you might try opening your order, resuming at the failure point, and trying to submit again periodically over the rest of the weekend. This worked for me one time. Good Luck!
  22. I would e-mail Customer Service at submissions@cgccomics.com; recent responses have been within 2 business days. Alternatively, you may want to consider the Ask CGC forum. I think it is taking a few days to open received packages, but a month is too long.
