  1. Got this one today (thanks to Eric).
  2. Congrats on your first slabbed pedigree. I should have the Pacific Coast copy of TOS #84 (CGC 9.4) when I arrive home today, thanks to a great board member.
  3. The Western Penn Avengers are very nice. I'm still kicking myself for not picking up a few more when ComicLink listed them. That was such a beautiful day, seeing all these great books, and pretty much having the pick of the litter.
  4. Great Cover and nice book. I only have one Bowling Green book, but want to pick up a few more.
  5. Bob, if you're like me, you started to see those covers and say "well if I just sold this book or that book, I could get some of them". Ah, too many books, too little money.
  6. None were listed on any sites. The beauty of the forum is NETWORKING.
  7. And another. There were a few others plus three nice early Avengers (which I will post one of them in the pedigree thread).
  8. I picked up several HG very early TOS's from a board member. Books that aren't available very often.
  9. You sure have a lot of good stuff. And the colors do look unreal.
  10. Super pick up. I was really hoping no one bought that, as I wanted to try to work out a package deal with Doug. Congrats on an awesome book.
  11. See, you'll make Detective in no time.
  12. Do a little research and you will find out. Let's just say I got it below the NM-(9.2) Guide Price, and in the title heading, it wasn't noted as the first appearance of the Creeper nor specified as being the Pacific Coast copy. Which is why it didn't draw much attention.
  13. Very Cool. I was looking at that myself.
  14. Very nice book, but I can see PedigreeMan just getting more and more . He believes most SA pedigrees, aren't really WORTHY. I'm sure he is LOVING seeing all these BA books. Keep em coming!!!!!
  15. While it seems that you are kind of "rubbing it in" Scott, you actually make a very good point which is: If there are any BA books out there, that it's quite possible to still find bulk loads of HG ungraded copies, it would probably be #1 ISSUES. Not only did publishers know to print more copies of the First Issue, but collectors knew to buy multiple copies. I really think it's much harder to find HG copies in the middle of a run then the First Issue.
  16. You the man Nikos (and I understand the wife thing) . I guess I'm going to have to whip out some of my recents purchases (just a bunch of BA stuff). I actually got my first Winnipeg about 2 weeks ago (OK, it was actually 17, with more on the way, but who's counting).
  17. Man, you are a regular PEDIGREE ADDICT. Those are some sweet books. And congrats on your first Green River Pedigree. I still don't have one.
  18. Sorry!!!! But you know you LOVE IT. It's a collection, inside a collection (like a dream inside a dream). I admit, that I'm hugely addicted to pedigrees (even the so called "false idol" SA and BA ones).
