  1. This just arrived today. Absolutely ecstatic to finally own such an iconic piece of work. Can’t stop looking at it !
  2. Taking the investment side for it away. I’d go FF5. Doom and the FF4 are much more iconic than the mutants in my humble opinion.
  3. Early - mid 90s so, Mcfarlane Spider-Man jim Lee - X Men foil / embossed covers Comics in sealed bags wizard Image comics
  4. 4 i picked this up last year also in similar condition. Such an iconic cover / book.
  5. A wonderful shop in Newcastle, UK called Timeslip. The excitement of my first trip there has never left me. I bought my first comic there, a Bronze Age FF. It’s where I also picked up my Silver Surfer 1 for £5 which was lot of money to me back then ! Not long after, around 30 years ago, it was bought by the Forbidden Planet group so it became a chain. It was here where Stan Lee in person signed said Silver Surfer 1. what I wouldn’t give now for one final trip to Timeslip.
  6. Focus on minor keys as majors not possible at this moment. ASM 121 / 122 ASM 50 ASM 28
  7. You’ve reached a goal many of us can only dream of. Complete runs of just one iconic title is snacking but to do so many is mind blowing. How about Collecting original art perhaps ? If you feel burned out which I totally get, I’d maybe just start reading them and enjoying them for the purpose they were created for
  8. Thanks. just curious to see what others think. I know it’s a bit worn but it’s a favourite of mine, a superb cover and storyline to match. It’s a book I’ve always wanted and as my finances don’t allow major keys or high grade minor keys then books like this or my grail ! Thanks all
  9. Yeah it’s great. I’ll be bidding on some of the lots but nothing at too big money with Xmas around the corner. I’ll be intently watching though the AF15, IH1 and FF1.
  10. I’ll second 30th century. I deal with Rob a lot and he’s a pleasure to buy from.
  11. Mate you’ve struck gold. Start planning that yacht purchase now.
  12. I live in Newcastle so I’m lucky enough to go to the Anderson and Garland auction in person. John is a lovely guy. Next weeks looks amazing so getting to see so many keys in one room at one tune is amazing.
  13. One of the grails I really want. I’ll gladly double what you paid buddy ??!!! 4.5-5
  14. ASM 258 is one of the best Spidey books of that era. It’s a great story how RR finds it out to be a living symbiote. Very very underrated book imo
  15. Remember this as as if it was yesterday. Really wish I had a camera.
  16. Thanks I was going to stretch to a 3 million but the buyers premium makes it now out of my price range !!!
  17. Looks higher than a 1.5 to me. Is there anything you can’t see in image pulling it down ?
  18. so the AC1 that went for 3.2 million, was that price inclusive of buyers premium ? I thought it was hammer price but as I’m far from an expert on auctions then I wouldn’t know
  19. I presume you’re talking buyers premium price and not hammer price ? unless I’m completely missing something ( very possible ) this is what I see
  20. Stuck on 2.3 million for days now, have we hit a wall or are we expecting some late activity frenzy ? I cant see it beating AC1 now but hey what do I know.
  21. It’s mine, when can you return it ?
  22. Love how you title ASM 14 as 2nd app of the Enforcers, as if nobody else may have shown up for the first time !!! 4
