Seeing Roy's stuff made me want to dig up my childhood artwork... but unfortunately, my family moved around the country a lot and most of my artwork was destroyed in a flood when my parents were living in New York. I did have some grainy photographs taken over the years of some posters I did when I was from 14-16 actually. Here are some of them. (Most are pretty embarassing actually... but I think I wouldn't have the same patience today to do them.) They are all 24" x 36" done on those white poster boards you can get at a typical department/grocery store. I used markers actually... since I didn't have any paint or any formal training up to that point.

I use these: The other Scotch tape is too sticky and leaves a residue when removed. (So does this, but it won't stick so badly that it tears the comic.)

That's really a stunning museum room. Are those halogen lights over the comics though? Are they harmful?

Childhood artwork is always fascinating to me... Nice stuff. This went from your early teenage years to age 20? It's interesting that you drew the same stuff that I drew when I was young.

I cannot see that happening. It would require the Mods to specifically target an individual in a negative way. It could open CGC up to attempted lawsuits. (Not saying valid ones but attempted ones.) I see this suggestion from time to time from various people but you have to realize the line that CGC and the Mods need to draw. That's an interesting take on it. Another option then is voluntary placement in their own signature.

Nice job! Personal Preference: I've found that 2 Half-Backs together are NOT better than 1 Full-Back even though the combined thickness would be 48 mil to 42 mil. The single Full-Back provides much more rigidity. (This is more apparent with the SA sizes and up.)

Someone else had passed on that set so it was just luck that you got a complete set. (thumbs u I actually just picked up another Epic Illustrated #33 and #34 externally (the hardest to find really), so now I have another full set available. (It cost me more than usual though... but I had some trade credit with that business.)

Since you live in the states MR COMICBOOK, go to usps com and order some priority mail boxes for cardboard. You can order up to 500 at one time, and they are FREE. No-cost shipping, too. I accidentally ordered some FPO boxes, and I use those for cardboard sandwiches. Yep, you get an awesome service through USPS. Royal Mail pails in comparison. Using the Priority Mail boxes for other purposes (or just for the cardboard) will eventually increase the price for the rest of us. They're already spending additional money printing on the inside of the boxes which I'm sure they will pass on to the customer. (I realize this practice also precludes re-using OLD priority boxes... but using NEW boxes for cardboard sandwiches is really theft.) I buy 200lb cardboard from Uline. It costs money, but I'm assuming the person I send it to reuses it and sends it to someone else in turn. I also recycle old boxes and large cardboard computer boxes for these purposes.

I forgot to take it to the PO as well. Well, my point is how is anyone supposed to know what's in the package? They'll have to take apart your entire cardboard sandwich to find out. (Assuming they don't recognize the sender's name.) What about customs? (Since it's an international package.) This is why I use magazine or treasury size bags. At least, they're see-thru.
