  1. Everyone: Your "recollection" of events pertaining to this issue is haphazard and does not accurately reflect what happened or what was said. Let's leave it at that.
  2. Here's my perspective: Everyone starts with a "reservoir of goodwill"... usually more positive than neutral. Hardly anyone starts with a negative. Your actions here either add to that reservoir, take away from it, or don't alter it. Once it's depleted for some people, it's that much harder to get back as people tend to have long memories.
  3. Ex-Heroes and Ex-Patriots by Peter Clines. $2.99 Kindle edition http://www.amazon.com/Ex-Heroes-Peter-Clines/dp/1934861286 Superheroes in a Zombie Apocalypse. 'Nuff Said. (Also read about a half dozen other books this month.)
  4. Let's hope that you have lived a perfect life because it would be a shame if someone did this to you because of something you did or may have done by accident.
  5. While there is a built-in image upload function on these boards, it is limited in size. (150k I think.) Most scans are larger than that as we like to see minute details. So your scan should be at least 600-700 pixels wide at least. http://www.photobucket.com does offer free accounts. That is where you should open a free account and upload your scans of the front and back covers or any digital shots. (This is just general information you can use for future images as well.)
  6. Received my two large boxes of VCC drek yesterday just four days after the last VCC. Immaculately packaged as usual and as advertised. It's always a pleasure doing business with the Forum Legend.
  7. That's not a bad idea... It would be a better idea if CAL came up with it.
  8. I need to start pulling some books out... DHP is one of those series NO ONE wanted so I tend to have packs and packs of these.
  9. Picked up a slab from LoneTree at VCC XVIII and it was shipped quickly and securely. (thumbs u
  10. Despite potential problems with Canada Post, my rather large box of greggy purchases from VCC XVIII arrived quickly and safely. Can't ask for much more than that! (thumbs u
  11. The original Wing Commander! (Not the WC III you're showing...) First game to make me go out and spend $200 on a Soundblaster sound board.
  12. greggy sold me his drek and the huge boxes arrived before I could pay him. Thanks for the 4 cubic feet of peanuts and the deal. (thumbs u My Postal Carrier looked very grumpy this weekend as he delivered my Regional Priority Boxes. I think he probably threw his back out.
  13. Awesome. It's actually My Stuff and then My Profile. It's under Display Name
  14. This was released in 1964... If you squint at the guy in the lower right... I see the genesis of Boba Fett!
  15. I don't think people on Marvel and DC's comp lists received Stamped Books necessarily... Steve Wyatt sold Ann Nocenti's comic collection (and she had basically runs from the 80's up) which I assume she received free as a Marvel staffer. I don't remember those books being stamped... but I could be wrong.
  16. A missing hand for Rick would either look fake, or require a LOT of CGI and greenscreening. They probably had Merle lose the hand instead of Rick for cost reasons as he's a guest actor and not a regular.
  17. If you've been watching Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution, what they're serving in school is pretty alarming.
