  1. I'm curious how you arrived at the $50 FMV for the Cap? If you seriously think it is a 9.0+ then would it not be worth more than that? Earlier in thread I cited a couple of GPA results. A recent 9.2 sale for $80. I realize $30 is not a big deal and doesn't impact insurance coverage much if any but I really am curious what sources you used. And if I were you, I wouldn't have posted my address, telephone number and account number, I will be more than happy to edit my post and remove the quote if you wish to edit yours. And I may have missed it but what grades are you thinking on the other two books? Good luck.
  2. youthful romance to romances of a more adult nature
  3. Never put it together so I hope all the pieces are there - saw someone posted the SS Third earlier
  4. Today wind gust here are 30-40 mph with leaves blowing everywhere, I feel their pain.
  5. I hope you are correct but I don't see this getting up to a 7.5. Regardless, like @shadroch said above, you most likely will lose money if your intent is to sell. According to GPA, a 8.0 sold February of this year for $75 which is the most recent of the grade you suspect but also a 9.2 sold sold in June of this year for $80. So when you add up pressing, grading, shipping (to and back), you are going to be in the red. If you just want to press and slab to test your grading skills or it has some sentimental connection, go for it.
  6. Not sure I have seen this one, RM. Cool book. I do find the contrast of your avatar and book offering to be interesting
  7. Lou Ferstadt cover to cover stamped (signed) with (by?) Louis Ferstadt
  8. crime fighting detective on the cover to crime fighting detective title
  9. First in the thread wins. Paypal good and services. No Returns. Shipping in US for Padded USPS Priority Flat Envelope is $9.30 (well sandwiched between layers of rigid cardboard). This could also probably go First Class again Padded Envelope sandwiched between cardboard. I see that not only have prices gone up recently but the max weight for first class package is 13 oz. instead of 16 oz. but if it works that way, it will be at cost if you prefer. International, I would need to get a quote. Really no pricing for raws that I see. I can't find any for sale on Ebay, Metro, etc. There are copies on the census. GPA has the most sale for an 8.5 with a cracked case in May, 2020 for $136. I will say this must be the most common in the five issue series as it is the only one on the census. Nothing on GoCollect. I am thinking this copy is around a 7.0. Tight at the staples, Pages good with no markings or tears. A little pressure indentation you can see on the FC and does show on the first few pages. So I am going to assume this has gone up some in value like other books. I will price it at $140 to start. Any interest at $125. Please PM with any questions although I am offline really starting now until 1 am Central Time.
  10. What you see is what you get. Readable although some significant brittleness to one of them. One is missing the BC. First here. Paypal goods/services. No returns. $10 shipped in the US media mail (I believe media can be used for pulps).
  11. I bought several copies of this book off the stands during my 80s speculation. I submitted some time back but alas I couldn't tick up to a 9.9. The only 9.9 I ever got was on Wolverine #1 (mini-series).
  12. And it goes to a Deserved Best Forumite of the Year and Happy Birthday Master. Thanks Pit.
