Congrats on your purchase! I'm in the club myself. (My copy was obtained many years ago) It is one of my most favorite books. It is king of the Baker books in my opinion. You will never be sorry you bought it. Hang on to it and enjoy it.

RM, with all sincerity, I'm happy to be in any club with you.

You gotta remember, though, Bob's in every club. :)

My list also includes the non-romance comics.  As you can imagine, they are much easier to get for the most part.  Also, here is Romantic Secrets 19 -- I think I mistakenly said #4 in my original post.

just asking - how does this Romantic Secrets 19 make your Baker list?

It's listed in the Amash book.  The blonde haired man looks somewhat "Bakerish" to me.  Amash credits Colletta as inker.   That might explain why it doesn't look like Baker, assuming it is a Baker cover.  There are a few comics on my Baker list that I have doubts whether they are actually Baker. I pick them up if they're cheap.

TAR 11 is pretty tough, with only three copies on the census, of which this one is the highest. :whatthe:

Anyone have a nice raw copy? hm

Wow!  Why, oh, why did this only get a 4.5?  I'm not seeing it...

The graders hate me!

If you had a scan of this book in the raw, I wish you'd posted that first, and made everyone try to guess the grade CGC gave it (without cheating and checking the census).

No spine split.  Really looked nice in hand.  Here are the graders notes:

fingerprints right center of front cover
light creasing to cover
light shadow full bottom of back cover
medium stain right top of back cover

The back cover doesn't actually look that bad to me.  Enough dings, though, to gradually pull the grade down, and I guess the word "stain" has become like the black spot in old pirate movies.:)

Another tough one to find in decent shape -- does a high-grade copy exist?

Here's what I got.  I'd say it ought to come back... uh, graded.
