An odd comic to be sure, BUT since he's got his own movie coming out and since this is his origin issue and second appearance, I wanted to add it to my oddity collection. This is the only graded copy. An interesting side note: The American issue is cover dated 11/71, while this copy is simply dated 1972, which means this book was published near the same time as the American counterpart, making it likely a first German pressing as I see it, not really a reprint.

I had only a few war comics growing up, didn't really gravitate to the genre, but I swear I had some Weird War Tales issues.

 This is an amazing cover, submarines and comics, what's not to love.

IMHO Ghosts 97 is in the same league artistically as Aparo's Adventure Spectre covers.

You post inspired me to move mine to the top of my ongoing collection scanning project.
