There might be something wrong with me mentally. I've been shifting my focus lately more towards romance books. I'm more used to a nice battle scene than a kissing scene. (of course, this cover has both )

I'll have to pull some Iron Man out and take a look at that to compare! I found 70s early 80s to be my favorite ASM issues but I have not read allot of them in decades now.

Well here's my big purchase for the year. I don't think I could've held out much longer on this book, so when my bonus came in I thought I'd treat myself. This is probably by far my favorite bronze age book, an unprecedented start to an uncanny era of stories.

I didn't collect many DC comics growing up, but I always thought their covers were more dramatic than Marvels.

Didn't buy it because of the upcoming movie. The movie just helped a few nice copies surface and its been on the list for years in high grade but couldn't find a copy that I wanted. Really happy with this one though. Now if I could just find a nicely centered 9.4 # 5.

Just back from CGC. 

I do not disagree with the grade but I own 9.8's I feel are in lesser condition.

 Figured i had a puncher's chance at a 9.8 so gave it shot given the surprisingly low 9.6/9.8 Census pop's on the book. Still not bad for a $2.00 1998 raw purchase.
