TMNT #1's do pretty poor on heritage in general. Not the right target audience. Combined with the fact that they were at the end of a long auction and you get those kind of prices.

 

I would of put an extra bid in on the 8.0 if I had been at the computer. Even though it was overgraded and C/OW it went super cheap.

That was a great grab! The 8.0 went for $2500 too which is over $1000 less than recent sales. Wonder if there has been shilling of this book going on if auction prices don't match up with the recent GPA sales hm

The three newest books in the entire auction were the two Turtles #1s and the My Little Pony book. The crazy thing is, the My Little Pony book went for more than the two Turtles #1's combined :facepalm:

Childhood Jaybuck's room was COVERED in turtles (I even had a giant bin with Donatello painted on it with puff paint that was filled with the Playmates toys) so finally getting my hands on a first print made me STOKEDDDDD. So happy :cloud9:
