Apparently Rick is getting plenty of Action in this thread. (thumbs u

Are we on the wrong side of this trade? hm

Maybe? But who's having More Fun?

Is he going to get the Action? ....1? (shrug)

If not, will he want our books back and tell us the sales were just for fun? :sumo:

Nah... Will we need to bring a class action against him? (tsk)

Nah... That wouldn't be fun.

Wait one minute........ He's selling his Timely's and More Funs but not his Actions. doh!

Why didn't I see this before. zzz

He needs to complete his Action collection in order to put it up for sale. :headbang:

Only then will he have the capital to go out and buy a very high grade More fun collection. ^^

Jay's got the flow, pulling out the big guns.

Making up a story with his sweet old rhymes.

Ricky thowing down Action as chaser for his Mo' Funs.

This thread is a memory for all times.

Benjies moving round like water in a river,

Boardies circling the thread as their knees begin to quiver.

Tec27kid, he gots the goods.

Big bad azz comic boy in southern hood.

Parker's making back up, Dino's there too.

Buying up the big books, filling Rick's war chest,

Who's going to stop the frenzy, what's a boy to do?

When you give it all you got and you're only 2nd best.

Step back and watch folks, that is my only option.

Either that or send some family members up for adoption.

Since I have no choice but enjoy looking in,

I'll watch all the big mutha's hittin' BIN after BIN.

Word.

as promised, a few more timely's... this is a book that I posted in general that I would include a little note that a pressing would really do this book wonders (eliminate the spine roll and remove from front cover viewing, the foxing)... won't change the grade, won't enhance the condition, won't change the price, but it would do wonders to improve the appearance (IMO)

also might be noted, if the NY buyer is a board member, I did sell this and the AW 11 in a combo deal to a buyer in NY, but we never completed the transaction, so I offer it here singley...

Best Timely cover, period :sumo:

Congrats on the sales Gator, and good luck putting the funds to good use on a book that starts with an A.

Can anyone 'splain to me how Bucky and the Cap are beyond the ship, Cap's legs are in front of Bucky, Bucky's gun is pointing forward yet he's able to get a shot in at a plane on the ship without blowing away Cap's leg? Some sort of a Boomerang shot or something? That minor detail aside, I do agree that this is a great cover, like many other Timelys (though I am a DC guy).

Roy is back doing his thing

Chiming in with a post to make all of us sing.

Ricky's thread is humming with sales so sweet

selling multiple copies this weekend is no small feat.

Tec27 throws them up on a scan

and sales come in proving he's the man.

Why can't I do the same? I'm just not as slick

I'm learning that Fla has more than some hicks.

Some glorious books sold, they're all the rage.

They may cost some of us our weekly wage.

No matter, they're ours and others will learn.

We don't work for food but for comics we earn.

So here I sit starting to break into a sweat.

Thinking of the things that haven't happened to me yet.

I'm thinking about my courage with all of my might.

And how to explain to my wife, the check she must write.

Bucky is firing at something out of frame. The Japanese plane on the carrier has been hit by one of the other allied planes joining in the attack.

Ah, yes, indeed, that would explain it. I guess the path of the bullet from Bucky's last shot was only drawn to the point of the plane, and this threw me off. Thanks! I'll quite derailing Gator's sales thread now :foryou:
