Hepcat
I have no indication of that one being a File copy. I purchased it about eighteen months ago from Harley Yee.
frozentundraguy
I recently posted Ha Ha Comics issue 30. In that issue there is a rather startling anti smoking story featuring Robspierre the cat. Robspierre has a dream where he initially thinks he's in heaven, but soon finds out that just the opposite is true. Page 4 of the story.
Hepcat
Poor Robespierre! No cat deserves such treatment. Worse yet, Robespierre seems to be a very sadly forgotten feline comic character. Here's another forgotten one out of the mists of a distant era: 13 17 Edited September 27, 2012 by Hepcat

Hepcat
I think the Mickey's and Donald's etc are too easy I agree! I've always found the more obscure titles to be more interesting! HA HA comic books could become habit forming. And I can see why! Be great to find a whole stack of those. Arkadin
I collect Pogo strips from the early 50's, and now I'm starting on the Dell comics too. The Pogo's from this era are so, so much fun to read. Snagged this in the ol' Heritage swamp recently.

Hepcat
Here's another relatively obscure title at which I've been pecking away: Excellent Spike and Tyke books. Per Wiki Spike made his first appearance in a Tom & Jerry cartoon titled "Dog Trouble" in 1942. Tyke debuted in 1949. The funny animal characters I tend to like the most are the lesser known ones with the masses such as Spike and Tyke.
