I love Canada. Just been a few years since I've visited.

 

But please tell your Canadian Viagra vendors to stop bombarding us with all these spam emails. They can send that nurse down though that is pictured in the ad. She gets an automatic Visa!

I'm thinking we should start a Forum Sales "Probation" Thread where forum members can post notices of non-paying members, i.e., those that have posted the little guy in response to sales threads, and suddenly developed amnesia when it comes time to pay.

 

You can also post, "I paid for it, now where is it" messages here as well. Probation is probation.

 

I suggest a 1-month waiting period on any transaction before outing the scoundrel here. If the issue hasn't been resolved in a month, chances are, it's gone to the dogs!

 

Updates will be provided when possible. Names will be removed from the Probation List upon notification of resolution between the buyer and seller. Let's try to be responsible here, and have the thread serve a purpose to the community.

I'm too new to matter in a decision, but to me it does seem it's central to the CGC Forum Markets only. Some re-wording definitely needs to be done if this will cover eBay transactions between boardies. I don't disagree with that change by any means, I am just saying, clarification would be nice.

No Slym, the Prob. Thread IS specific to this forum. NOW if a person uses this site to direct traffic to another site to complete transactions THERE, that would still qualify because this site was used as part of the overall fraudulent transaction. But if we're talking about a transaction in which the CGC Boards have no association with the failed exchange (even if both are board members), that's something different and should not be handled here. Issues along those lines should be brought up in Comics General under the normal "Buyer/Seller Beware" threads that always crop up.

Well, that's how I feel it could and should be handled as well - I am just saying, if the case is that this will be reflected by other sales besides CGC's Forums, it needs to be refelcted better in the wording.

Even in counts original reformatting seen here there is no mention of board exclusivity.

 

Also i would like to point out that the first mention of the probation list being board transaction exclusive (to my knowledge) was on 6/26/09. It was less than 30 days later that comicsupply came back and tried to sell here again and get off the list on the recently created technicality.

I would vote for board exclusivity, with the exception of extremely shameful behavior in other comic selling arenas. If a board member unveils themselves as a unrepenant and habitual crook somewhere else I'd like to have a permanent record of it available. Comicsupply comes to mind: even with all the publicity about him here he still seems to catch unsuspecting buyers unaware through sheer gall and persistence.

 

And yes, I know this could be a slippery slope...

On another website that a member of these boards runs there is a therad dedicated to bad transactions that have nothing to do with that site. Maybe start a new thread to highlight bad transactions off the boards?

 

It could be too generalised though if you're aiming at just highlighting boardies, most people would have no idea what peoples IDs were on other selling sites.

Agreed, I've shipped to Canada on multiple occasions over the last several weeks, and the books arrive within a week most of the time.

 

Adonis, you really can't blame the issues on International shipping.
