Puma Blues mini was tucked inside a Puma Blues TPB that I bought. Didn't know it was there until I got home.

Picked these up for $1 each at an antiques mall I haven't been to in seven or eight years. There was only one booth with comics and I'll need to go back to dig through all the boxes.

No comics today, but a cool local pickup nonetheless. Sports Illustrated #1-6 plus the one-year anniversary issue. Both #1 and #2 have the baseball card pullout inserts intact. Very happy to grab these though it was a bit of a drive through heavy traffic.

The fold out inserts? They are the weight and feel of Bronze comic covers.

I went back to the antiques mall where I found the Dell TV tie-ins I posted earlier hoping to find more. No such luck. But I did find this beauty:

Picked up another collection yesterday - 6 liquor cartons full of books (maybe like 500 books?), they were asking $200 (coincidentally the same as what I paid for another recent collection). I'm super glad I saw the listing and jumped at that price - the last collection had some good finds, but this one was far, far better! Not high grade, but still well worth it:

From what I could find, it's an art book from an artist named Franchesco that was sold at a convention about 12 years ago or so. I haven't really been able to find much else about it. It also unfortunately has what looks to be a small tape-pull on the cover. Still pretty cool though - it's signed by the artist.

I have been known to have “car trouble” or not “feel well” from time to time…

Although that picture might not movtivate  me much to get up in the dark and wait in line for hours though.

Hopefully someone who did will score something in those piles.

Aside from the great finds in there it is nice to get something likle that already bagged and boarded!
