It is thank you, I mention groo in my post, supposedly #4 also has some groo pages too, but cgc marks #5 as the 2nd appearance with Destroyer duck #1 being the first appearance  :)

I havent had time to crack them open yet. :)

Starslayer #4 has a back cover ad for Groo, but there is no Groo story inside.

Awesome and thanks for the heads up! Been putting in a window today that is an odd size, I still haven't got around to cracking the books open lol

But that explains the cgc label

Went out of my normal area and into Kansas for an auction. I didn't get the "bigger" books  (Captain America 32, Brick Bradford 6 and Air Fighters v2 6 and 7) that were there, Which went to a bidder on the phone. It was kind of funny, I don't think the auctioneer had a clue what the comics were worth. But still came home with some books after the 3+ hour drive there and back.

Here's the haul.

What did the bigger comics go for?

There was time to exam them, all the books pictured seemed complete to myself and the other person live., As far as the 2 people bidding via phone for the books I listed the prices for, I'm not sure if they just went with the pictures or called the auctioneer before hand. The phone ins hung up after the above books sold and things went pretty smooth for me and the other live bidder kind of played nice and both came home with some golden age books. It was an estate auction for what looked like a farmer in a small Kansas town held in the local 4h or FFA hall so it wasn't too crazy. I even went back in after I paid and bought my parents a nice old hay trolley.
