found these that caught my eye today over at a big flea market we have here in south florida...

 

while they aren't were the diamond in the rough. they were something... especially at a $1 a piece... i know Moon Knight is sort of popular with some...

 

one woman had a few boxes full of Copper age comics, as i ran through them all hoping to find something WOW.. i didn't but i did find a few titles i would have considered however her asking price for $2 bucks a pop was more then i wanted to spend for these $1 books

Yea man the one on the left is the first appearance of Buck Rogers in comics I think, and also if those two pieces of OA are from the original marvel star wars run, that also money in the bank. Congrats to the OP fora great haul.

It's a sad story with the original owner.

83 years old, never married, no kids only one nephew and a great nephew.

Had a MASSIVE collection of toys in his house, like something out of hoarders.

Only an 18" path thru the 8 bedroom house that was filled stuff, but mainly toys.

A pile of toys fell over on him in the night as he slept on a fold out couch.

He died from the complications from his injuries.

Very sad.

Pickup up a longbox-and-a-half today for $125 total. Some nice gems today. He also had some books marked down to 5/$1 so I picked up about 20 copies each of Catwoman #1 (1993 Balent), Batman #500 deluxe, Superman #82 chromium and Cable LS #1.
