Busy weekend...Saturday stopped at a guy's house that has an old "comics/records for sale" sign in his yard....all I can say is wow...a path to walk from room to room otherwise records/comics and everything thing else taking up every inch of space...too overwhelming.  Looked through at least 50 boxes of stuff...nothing great but the first couple pics were some 50 cent books I picked out..

Sunday went to a nice small comic show...next 4 pics were from $1 boxes and the last picture has various priced books I bought...

Happy with the weekends pick-ups...

Went to an estate sale that had X-Men 266 in the photos. I was the first person to look through the comics along with a friend and another man. We all searched vigorously looking for the first Gambit but it was nowhere to be found. This was the 2nd sale I’ve been baited to. The other was a few years ago that was supposed to have Action 252. Anyways, I left with the first Jubilee and New Warriors for $20. Then I went afterwards to pick up some comics from a dealer friend and a local con in the area. Here’s what I picked up for mainly bargain $1-2 prices

nice job on the superman comic variants plus some of the indy titles

Someone (or someones) were selling What if #10, the Dark Knight set, and Batman #366 for $1-2?

those were $3 each but I got a little discount on those. the 1st and 2nd issue were 3rd prints and they were not high grade but it was hard to pass on a full set essentially priced for $12. The What if 10 was $30 but I got a discount as well as the Batman 366s

I actually read that series in one sitting. Really BA. The Thing franchise has massive potential for 4-5 movie reboots. There's endless opportunities with a creature like that. Especially in this environment I think they'll do well

$10 yard sale haul 5 mins from my house. What a joyful pleasure it is to drive down my street and arrive in the chili morning to a sale. I was the only comic person but there was about 10 hungry record guys

Well doing my due diligence, I grabbed some extra $1's and headed over. They Had a couple of Turtle figures and a Batman something or other, but I don't know those neighbors well enough to ask questions. Nothing gave me the impression of comics, so at least I checked it out  and can say I tried!

Flea Market early Sat....nothing....then went to an auction about 30 mins from me and came away with a few low grade goodies...but the best thing that happened because I got to talking to a guy at the auction about comics and it turns out he lives very close to me....so today met up with him and bought a GK Scooby-Doo #1!
