Thank you i dont feel i left anything out if all you guys think that well let me know, but there is no me and Yannis best friend situation now trust me im pissed but what can i do besides make people aware. The PM's between me and him are stating he had a family emergency and sold the book to someone else nothing else. I have nothing to hide and i wasnt being like screw you guys im not telling anyone anything, i made it perfectly clear i thought. And ya no one told you to read this so.......

 

No, you were completely forthcoming. (thumbs u

 

And, FWIW, my opinion is that the 'family emergency' explanation is complete :censored: . It didn't stop the book from getting sold.

Couldnt of said it better. I also had a death less than 2 weeks ago (one of my best friends) but i was looking forward to taking the trip to get the book and having it to take my mind off things.

You took it to the people and now the people want to hear the conclusion. You can't just use us for your own satisfaction and leave us hanging.

As far as I'm concerned you are both on my probation list until time stands still if you don't cough up the details. Don't bother buying from me, nor will I buy from you.

 

I'm happy that you came to an S & M type happy conclusion but someone give me my time back for 70 pages of selling research wasted by members agreeing in private that they aren't despicable to try to escape being put on the probation list in the end.

 

You my friend need to chill out maybe go back and read it again cause you apparently missed alot, i said time and time again i got screwed and theres nothin i can do, i dont have the book and never will what more do you want?????

As far as putting me on the probation list seriously grow up and dont worry i wont buy from you and you can do the same from me. I didnt make the resolution private at all

Now you have gone from this is vile to its OK to deal with this seller without any info and we are suppose to be ok with this because the victim says I give up?

We deserve to know the details to make our own decisions regardless of whether he or you say the case is closed.

Surprised to see you so upset about this. A little Maple Leaf missing the playoffs :pullhair: ??

 

Matt brought this into the open and I'm glad he did but I don't think he owes us a complete explanation regarding the final resolution.

From what he has posted it appears the seller can't or won't sell him the Tec 37 and Matt can't do much about it.

He seems to have accepted the outcome and probably realizes another cool book will come his way.

He has probably also had some of the dealers on this boards offer to find him a great book.

 

It is obvious that Yannis decided to take a quick, guarenteed $1500 rather than wait any period of time for Matt's final payment.

Once a seller accepts a downpayment on a book he should consider it the buyers book and not for sale for any reason

unless the buyer fails to pay off the book by the agreed time.

Sorry..I agree with subliminal on this one..This was brought to a public forum and WHY the guy who got screwed out of the book should be public . So buyer pizz and moans ,or his friend does, then we want details and WE are the bad guys here? I think not..

 

When someone yanks a book after a deposit was made is wrong and no excuse would be acceptable IMO. And 8 mile..I did read this entire thread and there is no explanation.Funny how you were the guy with the lynching rope( and POLL I might add) but now have changed your tune all of a sudden?

 

As far as the buyer saying "there is nothing I can do" thats a bunch of hogwash.You can put his azz up for Hall of shame induction as he should be .. I read the long thread about the guy with the Avengers scans etc ,etc...What makes him any different then this situation? All boardies were ready to hang this guy and most did.What if this guy would have come out on the boards and said "its a private matter" .. Even though it is in a public forum
