I'm on the list.

I did one deal with robojo33: two raw books I purchased in 2007, when I first got back into collecting. It wasn't a significant purchase. Once I found this board and read about robojo, I posted about my purchase.

Someone on the board informed robojo about my post, but completely misquoted me, and robojo wrote to me asking why I lied about our deal and subsequent communications.

meh

Far too many big names on that list that had to have known what was up. I guess the lure of the "perfect book" is just too much for many to pass up, even when they know they are dealing with the "devil" himself.

Don't jump to too many conclusions, I don't think all those names are buyers, some may be sellers. Maybe sellers that didn't know who they were dealing with.

I say that because I am on the list and I am pretty sure I never bought from him, whether I knew who it was or not. And another name on that list is a non-boardie who I believe strictly sold, not bought, under that account name.

So everyone is guilty in your eyes automatically.

I bought from Comic-Keys years ago, when he was still officially Fantazia, and still went by the Danny Dupcak name. We're talking 1987-89 here. According to Phil Levine(who I sold some of the books to), the books had work done to them. But boy did they look nice. All "high grade" GA Batman...

Guilty of what (shrug)

Not quite sure how you arrived at that from my statement. It was more a comment on how we as collectors are willing to discard information on a seller to obtain "that" book in "that" grade.

...and you're assuming that all the people on that list knew that they were supporting a scam artist at the time they were doing it.

Some people came on here and admitting to buying from Robojo knowing who he was but the majority likely did not at the time of purchase.

huh? I bought from him and my name is on that list and it has NOTHING to do with discard information on a seller to obtain "that book" in "that" grade.

a lot of people got dupe in buying from him before they are aware of him from this board. As soon as I found out, I returned the book and got full refund.
