Is the forum messed up today?

Apparently. I have an entire SS opp. that no longer exists!

We're back to normal now.

:gossip: "Back to normal" - here?

This is CGC chatboard normal.

Igor: Dr. Frankenstein...

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: "Fronkensteen."

Igor: You're putting me on.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen."

Igor: Do you also say "Froaderick"?

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No... "Frederick."

Igor: Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkensteen"?

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: It isn't; it's "Frederick Fronkensteen."

Igor: I see.

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor.

[He pronounces it ee-gor]

Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."

Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor."

Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?

The one the guy had on Ebay recently? I mentioned that on here and posted the picture. Supposedly, it talks about Dave going professional soon in this fanzine.

Why don't you post a picture and let's see. :baiting:

That's been in my watched list since the day he put it up.

I keep waiting on it to be relisted with a "Make an Offer" option.

Well, now you made me look to see what other Stevens books he may have.

1974 comics fanzine THE CREATURE #1, Dave Stevens art

:o

1974?

Creature1_Stevens.jpg

Black & white interior. Cover by Carl Taylor and inked by Dave Stevens (credit at bottom of front cover). Editorial on inside back cover mentions Dave and that he had just gone pro. Early Dave Stevens art which doesn't appear on his official wedsite index as Dave left off various fan art projects. Most of the issue is a comic strip by Carl Taylor titled "The Creature."

Yep :D It popped up on eBay last night... I found it at the 2 hour mark... I did not hesitate or cogitate or procrastinate... Jumped on it like a live grenade in the Swedish swim team bus.
