The Morning Glories Thread

350 posts in this topic

for a harmless question marked "with all due respect" I sure got some people's backs up (shrug)

Just guys sticking up for others... in the fire service we call that brotherhood, I guess here we could call it "boardiehood"! I don't think anyone got defensive though, I think it was just an attempt at clarification.

Thats fine but why try & belittle me with an offer for a case of 200 copies?

I'd take em but they wouldn't sell in the shop.

"price on the site is for single (1-49) copies of my book.

I do offer discounts at the 50, 100 & case mark

hope that answers your question.

may I quote you a case (200) price?"

Plus, there's a For Sale forum for boardies wanting to sell books.

I started this thread to discuss Morning Glories.

If you thought that was belittling, you need thicker skin. You asked about getting discounts from Larry himself and he came on and told you, very simply and politely, that discounts were available. No ones back got up, at all.

I wasn't really trying to sell you comics. Just trying to explain a price difference in the market. Hope I did not offend you. I can see how it came off as smarmy.

Please accept my apology

Your variant is the coolest!

So what is the story with the comic the kids reading on that cover???

It was Spencer's first Image book. Not really a good mini. "Forgetless"

That must be why he's totally tearing that page out of it

I'm curious to see what the connection is between the "monsters" and the school. Maybe it's a feeding ground.

The Morning Glories #1 that is exclusive to my comic shop on the bottom interior indica page says special edition.

it is not a third printing.

it was ordered at the time of the 1st printing.

I would call it 1st printing special edition. a 6x scarcer and much nicer version if the regular cover.

I didn't mean to say it was a third print. Just commenting on the "bleh" status of the third print.
