The title "I am gonna miss that car." really hit too close to home....I don't have one!

...but actually, I don't have one because I'm always traveling out of city/state, and it didn't make sense for me to have one.

gossip.gif I heard you don't have a car because you're too short to see over the steering wheel. 893scratchchin-thumb.gif

Makes me think about my Buick Skylark convertible, 1969. Bamboo-cameo-cream was the way they described the color. Built in th Nixon years.......with a REAL horn.....BAHNG!!! cloud9.gif

Had 37,000 miles on it when I bought it. I was the third owner. Good times! thumbsup2.gif

Thought I would post a picture of a "project" car that I owned as a 25 year old car nut.

I sold the car in 1996 but thought I would post it anyway.

Its a 1971 General Motors Holden GTS350 Monaro.

Slightly modified with the following.

Ford 9 inch Diff with 3.55:1 Gears.

Turbo Hydramatic 350 3 speed auto with 2500rpm stall converter.

Holley 650 Double Pumper Carb

Edlebrok Torker Single plane Manifold

Fuellie Heads with 1.6 & 2.02 oversize Valves.

All wiring removed from engine bay & Battery located in boot.

Before Project.

I have a 1995 Camaro Z28 back home. It's only the second car I've ever owned and first one I bought new off the lot. Should be fun, since I haven't driven in a couple of years being over here.

I'm surprised there are no Prius owners here. I had a first year one and gave it to my Mom last year after her car was totaled by an uninsured driver.

I wanted one when my Z24 got totaled 5 yrs ago (God, I loved that car frown.gif). But they were too new and expensive then.

I'm just looking forward to not having a car payment for as many years as possible. My first car lasted 12 years and I'm hoping my Accord will be the same.

My plan was to get a new BMW 3 series, but somehow I ended up with a Honda Accord and a Flash 105.

I can see that. smile.gif Although personally, I'd prefer a Flash 104. wink.gif

893crossfingers-thumb.gif Hopefully same here, my car is a 1997 and have had very few to no problems with it and hope to keep it that way.

What Changed ?893whatthe.gif

I was expecting a Universal 9.8 but somehow it came back with a Purple label stating Extensive Amateur restoration. makepoint.gif

Also mentions some crazy words like pieces added, pressed, trimmed, re -glossed, colour touch.

You just can't slip anything past these days. frustrated.gif
