A repost from the general thread.

Some of my best pick ups this year were pulps rather than comics (along with a couple of 1st editions). That seems to be where I'm focusing more and more.

My first early Action.

A Forgotten Grail.

FC0010fcsm.jpg

Second comic appearance of Tarzan from 1936.

TipTop002fc.jpg

A nice upgrade for my Tip Top run.

TipTop039LVfcsm.jpg

Rare early Tarzan pulp from 1914.

AllStoryCavalierWeekly1914-05-16fc.jpg

Conan cover story with nude Brundage hottie (and cobras! :headbang:)

WeirdTales1935-11fc.jpg

These next two are extremely rare boxing pulps with Robert E. Howard stories. (I got several but these two are the best of the lot.

A very nice copy of the McClurg true first edition of Warlord of Mars (1918) with a partial dj (copies in jacket in any condition are nearly impossible unless you're BZ). John Allen St. John art.

And an abosultely flawless copy of Skull Face and Others (1946).

Here's my top 10. My focus is pretty narrow these days. I already sold the last one. Love the cover, but needed to recover the funds for the purchase of the Supes #1...

That is simply amazing. I've been looking for this one in high grade for quite some time.

I packed my top 10 into 1. I'll be cracking it in 2 weeks.
Jay! :o That copy looks familiar...where'd you get it? Very nice appeal..I wonder if the glue could be scraped to get it into a blue label--although it would likely be cover separated and a 2.0. Congrats!

Thanks. I got it from the CC auction a couple of months ago. First, I'll read it, then figure out if I want to do anything about the glue.
