comicwiz
Here's another one I had as a kid. It went with my Stretch Armstrong.... I don't know if you're keeping up with Stretch toys, but the Stretch Serpent (one of only two complete known to exist) recently sold for $12K. The interesting thing is that if you read the description, the seller/owner of that had the syrup replaced with cotton to ensure the figure didn't harden and/or the rubber deteriorate. I'd love to see some photos of one of those too. EDIT - Was the catapult part of that set too? I remember having a blast with the Planet of the Apes catapult... Darkmind
Scrolled through the last year or so's posts and there is a disturbing lack of NES OMG you can get these things graded and sealed? Where can you find them like this? O and to stay on topic. I had all the GI Joes, hot wheels, transformers, and He Man toys the world could offer. But the one and only toy to steal my heart and take me for a ride every time I played with it was the original full size diecast Voltron! Man I'd love to get my hands on a MIB one of those. hockey&comicsguy
Hockey, Can you post a picture of one of the playbooks? Interested to see what they contain. Pat Here you go, front and back of an Action Team Mates playbook from 1977. Not much of a playbook but it was something easy to package with the figures I suppose. comicwiz
These days I'm focusing mostly on first movie (Star Wars) production toys. I recently picked-up these boxed (Series II) Kenner die cast ships. The detailing on the ships is pretty incredible for a 1979 toy, but the packaging is half the beauty and allure. What's cool about these is that the graphics on the back correspond to each ship. I'm just two Series I ships (TIE Fighter and X-Wing) away from completing the run: Imperial Cruiser/Star Destroyer Y-Wing Fighter Millennium Falcon
hockey&comicsguy
Those are sweet! I'm a vintage Star Wars slappy though so I think everything is sweet.
comicwiz
Those are sweet! I'm a vintage Star Wars slappy though so I think everything is sweet. Thanks! I initially was going to just go for the Series I (Landspeeder, TIE Fighter, Vader TIE and X-Wing). The Series II are always priced out of whack and so tough to find sealed. I took a gamble on these, and boy am I ever happy I did.
followtheleader
Comicwiz, those are great. Star Wars collector myself, but I don't own any of those. You are right, the boxes totally make them. Pat

Artboy99
Found these in a box in the garage. I had the football game on the left. Played it with my brother in the car in the backseat on long trips on summer holidays with the parents when we were kids. We got so good at it that you literally always scored. We also had a hockey game like it.
