Interesting that the Showcase #79 is going to break GPA with cream/ow pages. This is another book that has a stunning cover.

I remember when a CGC 9.6 copy went for $5,000-7,000

Dangit I didn't win the only book I was interested in :frustrated: I was underbidder though, but didn't MANUP enough!!! :cry: Book was New Adventure Comics #26.. Would probably have had the chance to nab it on ebay, but owner decided to close auction and put it up on C-link :tonofbricks:

thats a great book - under valued IMO. very common with cow or ow pages. even in high grade its very tough to find with White pages. actually with gpa at $114 in 9.2 that book seems like a steal

 

I recently settled on focusing my collection towards underwater covers(being underwater terrifies me, especially at night, or even the thought of a shark) so I'm still discovering new covers to add to my list. Browsing Comic Link was the first time I saw that one, it's so simple but the colors and composition are very strong. I'm hoping to pick up a 7.0 - 8.0 soon.
