Lately I think the only way that you will see a serious jump in prices is if someone runs a shill auction somewhere....

 

I think that means that the print run has to be enough that a disreputable dealer somewhere has a pile of the comics....

 

I'm thinking that the target is 8-13 thousand print run

So I recently saw that there's gonna be a amazing spidey continuing from 700.1...704..etc...

 

BUTTT,

I see that superior spiderman is continuing as well durring this time,,,so I guess peter's coming back but superior is gonna also stay....?

 

Anyway I think that prices on superior have been lowish due to the uncertainty of the series continuing...so now?

Or they might combine the titles with Superior Amazing Spider-man All New Marvel Now and start back at issue 1. :roflmao:

and then after about 20 or so issues change the numbering back to 701 just to make everyone mad. lol

 

Don't forget the 5 different creative team changes.

He recently did covers for Avengers #1 and Guardians of the Galaxy #1 for Marvel and I know he attends a lot of comicons. He's scheduled to attend Comikaze in LA on Nov. 1-3.

Looks like it's two guys bidding against each other after the first guy dropped out at $500. Even the top guy now appears to have gotten slight Buyer's remorse since he retracted his $650 bid. Will be interesting to see if either of the other two (or the dreaded unseen lurker) snipes it at the end. Sure hope this draws some more copies out of the woodwork. Would like to have a 9.8 too. Just not at these prices, which is a bit ludicrous imo at this current stage. Not that you can really put a timeline on price increases. But doubling like this in just a few weeks time frame after 20 YEARS is odd.
