I don't feel that Star Wars is going to follow the typical Marvel relaunch schedule.

I sure hope this series makes it to issue #108. I think that Marvel will have lots of mini-series based #1's over the upcoming years to help them cope with their ever-growing urge to re-launch.

wonder if the Outcast pilot showing at SDCC will generate any heat on sales...cheap copies of 1 1st have pretty much dried up.....most copies are being put up for $19.99. A lot of people seem to be in wait and see mode

There's a booth that has a stack of #1s for $12-14 each

Didn't someone say or maybe it was Kirkman that the #1 issue wouldn't be worth more than 10 dollars back a few months ago?

Back on topic, since the Star Wars #1 6th printing news in this thread earlier this morning, a grand total of 11 copies sold on eBay. 1 for $15.99 and 10 for $13.99.

a grand total of 12 copies sold on eBay since it's release fifty five hours ago...

From the 24 possible listings on eBay and the fact that midtown and tfaw are all out, I think that's pretty good.

The fact that comic collectors number in the hundreds thousand & Star Wars collectors number in the millions is enough for me...

Yeah, if you're a speculator and not buying the Marvel Star Wars series, you're not very bright. In 2-3 years when this is on issue 70 and the movies are making a billion+, issues 1-10 will be in demand. And if not, you're out 100 bucks or so. And still got to read some pretty good books. Because they are good books.

Always, this. :hi:

probably talking out his hiney...can't imagine him following the comic market...or caring.

I agree when your net worth is 20 million, comic values don't matter anymore.

Kirkman joked about the future value of Outcast #1 last year in a panel at NYCC. He joked to not get your hopes up about making any decent money off them when the show does finally air because their are a bazillion copies of them. It was all in good fun in a response to a Outcast/TWD related question he was asked. He was quite the comedian and came across as very nice. Even stayed and signed one thing for everyone in the panel. Which was around couple hundred people.
