Not quite sure what this means. It's been a while since I have read the story, but I'm pretty sure the character was gay all along. Veronica just didn't know he was gay, so she was chasing him around, hitting on him until he finally told her. This was in the storyline that introduced him. That's why the cover looks like it does - the fact that he was gay was the twist in the story, and the cover is setting it up.

My question was just about Kevin being gay when first introduced or if it was something that developed over a few stories. Seems like an interesting reveal.
