Hillbilly 1 is selling for $12+ two days after it was(still is) on shelves.

 

SSBII looking good as well. There will be no 2nd print and no digital according to Eric Powell.

 

Hillbilly was friggin awesome.

And the Buzzard is in the next issue!

 

I got the last copy at our shop. I don't think they ordered a ton.

Powell's series before with the Lil guy probably didn't help.

The key is to be content to not chase every book every week. It is too frustrating/exhausting. If you can get something good 3 out of 5 weeks, you have done something well even though you may have missed out on the other two. I was in a bunch of stores yesterday and forgot to look for Hillbilly and AoS3. Oh well, on to next week.

But then, weeks later - maybe months, I found a guy in TX who was pimping EOSV #1-5 for 20 shipped. All #2 came back 9.8 too!

I needed some boards so I looked around at the LCS and grabbed 3 Lois & Clark 1s and 3 Superman Convergence 2 variants. Added my L&C 8 and first set up on ebay now. They have about 5 more L&C 1s there, $4.25 each. I was looking for Hillbilly or Agents of Shield 3 but no go.

Anybody interested in the first appearance of Pepper Potts as Rescue??

 

Actually the secret retailer Invincible Iron Man 10 is kind of a cool book and it's also the first appearance of J.A.R.V.I.S. The second print of issue 11 is still tough to find. A quick search shows 1 on Ebay for 22 bucks. As a collector I want both of these books in my collection.
