The above cover concept was in my opinion the absolute worst one that DC ever sprung on newstands. The more I learn about Batman's then editor Jack Schiff, the more convinced I become that he was the absolute worst comic editor of his generation.

I had never seen that cover before. Hmm.... Bat-Baby "Story of the Year!".

This might be one of the most overly highly touted books also. ???

All in all some very cool covers. :applause:

Wonder Woman as Wonder-Tot. Who was the editor in charge again? hm

It was touted only that one time. Since then it's been universally derided, and deservedly so.

Robert Kanigher. On a bad day, he could give Jack Schiff a run for his money, or rather whatever it was that DC was overpaying those two clowns.

62 also seems to have been a year with some rather odd looking monsters featured on DC books.

I have always thought the cover art for this book must have been done by a different artist than other books near this issue number.

A bit of research shows it was penciled by Dillin and inked by Sheldon Moldoff, the same team who did many of the issues around the same time. hm

D. Dillin and Sheldon Moldoff are two other artists who I don't think get the accolades they deserve. They helped to define the DC house look when it came to covers in the early Silver Age.
