An easy to make fake in "fair" condition would be a MME copy with the cover doctored to look tattered and ragged, cut of the silver border entirely and rip out the section on the splash page that indicates reprint and voila! Instant fake fair grade copy that maybe he can pass off on someone in a quick meeting.

:) It's not the condition...it's the price.

He's asking almost exactly 100 times the current market price.

Craigslist is always good for a laugh.

Here's one I noticed last night. $100 for the Sunday comics page featuring the last Peanuts strip.

doh!

What I find interesting was the Schulz family's actively re-buying all of the original artwork strips that made it to market. I wonder if they're still actively buying? They seem to be keeping tight control of the Peanuts stuff.

$1499 for Adventures into the Unknown

This genius has been trying to sell this for over a year now. He won't give any email address anymore since a few people have told him off, but he keeps posting.

He's got his phone number on the add. Just call him and tell him off! :acclaim:

Here's another joker looking for rubes......the add in is Boise, but he's not from here.

I called him up and he proceeded to me about how the early comics did not make it out West and how scarce they are and bla bla bla........

If anyone is interested he does have a lot of low-grade readers
