Speaking of variants the second printing of Manhattan Projects #1 is it really that rare? BIN on ebay for like $130.

it's very rare, not many come up for sale.

Anyone that lets a variant affect their thoughts of the actual story is very silly. Image still only makes, what, 1% of the variants that Marvel or DC put out?

 

On another note I got 2 nice pages before the price hike

I don't think it affects the thoughts of the actual story, however it may affect collectibility.

How many 2nd print #1s are there? There are only 500 HC 1st editions....

A few pages back someone quoted a number in the 5,000 range for the 2nd prints. I am still very curious to hear the print run on the 3rd print of #1 if anyone knows where to find that. Print runs on the 2nd prints of #2-4 would also be cool.

Did they change paper-stock for issue #6 cover? I just looked at my copies again and noticed a lot of waviness to the front and back covers. Also, how would this affect the grades of the books?
