Comic book collecting with a foreign variant focus

Excellent article, maybe someone here can help me with this:

I recently acquired this book, published by the EU in 2012.

According to this article, BIZARRE EU FUNDED COMIC BOOK PREDICTED PANDEMIC, WITH GLOBALISTS AS SAVIOURS | The Crazz Files

the book was not intended for mass consumption, so only a few hundred copies were printed. Is there any way I can find out the exact number of copies printed? Any other observations about this book are welcome and appreciated.

Great article on the foreign editions, I have a few Spanish ASM I've been holding on to.

Hey everyone

Just wanted to add some books I found whilst digging in some old boxes of mine.

They are German variants to Batman Beyond 1.

I know about the purple cover (far left) but the others I don't have a lot of knowledge on excepts for variant being on the cover (far right). Would love to know more if anyone knows..are they all from the same period/is the variant rarer than the regular?

FYI I amIMG_0406.thumb.PNG.d5a2c58569ac92a1e86a2a40dd946917.PNG based in the Uk.

Thanks

some awesome Mexican Prensa books.   I haven't looked at this thread in while and was surprised to see these.  Wow,  after few pages of seeing "15" grease mark, I was thinking these high grade are ghost books, must be something special, then got to page w CGC pedigree slab. Ahh ha! LOL   anyway congrats you hit lottery.  There are only 2 collections I know if that had high grade Mexican.   What we call Palacio , massive collection originating from Mexico City,  The HNG (Hector Nava Garcia) which was reference collection from artist workshop (complete runs of everything Novaro/Presna; avg 6.0 but some are NM others below 4.)    Occasionally we run across warehouse copies from USA dealers but not often, and usually only small # of books.

Thank you for the kind words! I'm really enjoying collecting the La Prensa comics, when I find them that is! They are quite difficult to find in high grade and I have many that aren't.

In my last post I said there was four comic books that could be considered the Golden's age end on Brazil (actually there are five, I forgot the one that I deem as the less exciting one). Today, another of these arrived. It has, a very, very special meeting between two characters that should not be meeting!

P.S:Note the Brazilian Code of Ethics logo in the upper right corner.

Mexicans are likely the third easiest  foreign to find here, after US and Portuguese material

I don't even remember if I posted this earlier this year, but here it goes:1255970802_P01-01-13_00_211.thumb.jpg.f678689e98e3f400b734f1a78d5ba2a1.jpg

If you pay attention to the covers, will notice that these first three Argentinean copies were actually distributed in Uruguay . Last one is Chilean  .

I just wanted to say thanks to all that have posted their finds in this thread.  For many years, I viewed foreign comics as just a weird phenomenon.  But around 10-15 years ago, I started getting more interested in European comics after a trip to Paris and one of the many cool comic book stores there.  Most of what I have are variants of Warren magazines (mostly Vampirella) from France, Finland, Spain, UK and Australia.

One of these days, I'll find the time to take photos and post them.  In the meantime, thanks to all for sharing these truly rare pieces of ephemera!!  (thumbsu
