My quest centers around Brave & The Bold #103. It's Batman and the Metal Men...all my pages and the cover are up on CAF (bought a bunch of them from ha.com), but I would love to reunite the whole book.

 

It has taken a little bit of time, but I've been able to hoover up the other pages off the other CAF guys, but now I am at the proverbial wall in my search. One of the guys I bought from told me that someone had the whole book and was selling off pages, so this guy bought all the Metal Men pages, but he couldn't remember the seller's name.

 

Any help greatly appreciated.

During the late 70s and early 80s Keith Pollard turned out some really nice art for Marvel. He most notably worked on Thor and FF, with a small ASM run and the other odd Marvel project.

 

Now the Thor work has by and large hit the marketplace, but my favorite Pollard Covers were his Spec Spidey early run. I've been looking for this cover for a while and considering that I haven't seen a Pollard PPTSS page let alone a cover, I'd image that they might be complete and intact in a collection. However I thought I would post it here to see if anyone has every seen the cover, ,or knows where it might be even if it is not for sale.

\\Mark is going to be at a convention here in NJ on March 30. I think I will go. Mark and I have a good "con" relationship, he knows me and we laugh about a wonderful McNiven cover I once passed on (The Steranko Jessica Jones cover) that he will no longer sell. $1200 and I passed! I am still searching for this Mike Mayhew piece. Originally, it was on Mike's site, when I went to make an offer on it, I found out he had sold it on Ebay a short time before to a buyer in Germany. Mike was very nice and accomodating about my questions, but I am still looking for the piece...
