In this case, serious.  When a Miami-Richard can't handle the quirky personality of a comic book dealer (imagine that, by the way), and comes on this public forum to slam not only the dealer but New Yorkers in general, he deserves being called on it.  If he doesn't like it, after all, he can just find himself a Kleenex.

It seems to happen with regularity lately with the angry newbish.  It also seems to me that this isn't the only thread devoted to bashing that particular dealer.
